Will Senate Rebuke Obama’s War On Coal?

Inhofe3792 Will Senate Rebuke Obamas War On Coal?

If you’ve been understandably focused on the increase in prices at the pump, it’s time to focus on another pending energy policy disaster that will hit your electric bill soon: the Obama administration’s War on Coal. After cap-and-trade failed, the administration’s fallback plan has been a relentless regulatory assault on our most abundant domestic energy resource. The U.S. Senate will finally have a chance to do something about it, possibly as soon as this week.

Remember Al Armendariz, the EPA bureaucrat who resigned for admitting he likes to crucify oil and gas companies? He was assigned to Texas and Louisiana to obstruct oil and gas production. What’s happening to coal is even more extreme, and now EPA bureaucrat Curt Spalding, assigned to New England, let slip what the most recent power plant regulations are really about.

“If you want to build a coal plant you got a big problem. That was a huge decision,” Spalding said. “You can’t imagine how tough that was,” he continued, “because you got to remember if you go to West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and all those places, you have coal communities who depend on coal. And to say that we just think those communities should just go away, we can’t do that.”

If Obama can find a way to offend Pennsylvania like he has West Virgina the election will be in a gift basket.
Business waits on the American people to decide. I'm waiting on people to understand Obama will not be parting the sea which 37% of Americans fail to understand. He is the problem and not the answer.

Considering how much Odumbo bitches moans and complains about not enough job creation, look at the freaking regulations your EPA has passed. They tried to stop a copper mine in Alaska, they tried to revoke permits for Coal Companies, and they are trying to shut down all the coal power plants….geez it's no wonder the Unemployment rate is 8.3% and rising (not including all those millions out of work that no longer get counted cause they lost their Unemployment benefits)…your forcing people out of jobs!!!

Obama needs to go, and someone with some REAL solutions to fix our economy and get us back towards a Constitutionally run country!! All of this shredding of the Constitution has MAJOR consequences, and Socialism ISN'T the answer. Get people back to work and off food stamps!!

I hope we have an early winter following a HOT summer. Maybe then people will wake up to the fact that coal producers produce electricity that is needed to run air-conditioning, and to heat homes! I pray they wake up before the election.

Update. I live in Eastern Kentucky and AEP has a coal fired power plant just a few miles from where I live. They were going to co-operate with the EPA’s restrictions and install more expensive scrubber’s that costs billions but just last week they have refused to go along with their new rules. That makes me feel like better because my power bill was set to go up another 30%. More plants need to stand up to these Obama minions. Since this bastard has stole the presidency my work has been cut in half and getting worse.
