It’s amazing how liberals can, with a straight face, rationalize condom distribution with the alleged global warming crisis facing the world. The “climate change” or “global warming” threat isn’t real, but that doesn’t stop radical abortion and population control zealots from pursuing their goals in tandem.
One of those zealots is Kavita Ramdas, who recently gave a speech at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C. Ramdas is a bigwig at Stanford University.
According to Ramdas, “empowering women to time their pregnancies” and to abort unwanted babies would reduce carbon emissions between 8-15% globally.
Ramdas claims: “It is common sense that when women are able to plan their pregnancies, populations grow more slowly and as a result so do greenhouse gas emissions. Providing access to contraception and preventative health should be one of the many effective strategies used to fight climate change.”
Ramdas thinks that preventing births and aborting unwanted children is especially important in the U.S. because Americans, on average, use 40% more of the earth’s resources than children in other countries.
That makes great sense to a liberal: kill off the populations in highly developed countries because they’re the ones producing things, creating wealth, and using more natural resources than those populations in stone-age countries. In other words, she wants policies that de-populate the U.S. and will also de-industrialize our nation into slow decline until America becomes a stone-age society.
