Last week, King Barack decided that his Obamacare scheme had done enough damage for now. If there is anything that Obama has become skilled at since the start of his reign, it’s knowing when he has cut too deeply into the body of America’s freedoms. With a snap of his fingers, King Barack overruled his own legislation and stopped implementation of the Employer Mandate section of his cynically named Affordable Care Act.
Had he not done so (and if the Republicans in the House have any nerve left, he might not be able to), employers with fifty or more workers would have to start making the decision to either pay for expensive healthcare benefits for their workers or lay them off.
Since the percentage of American adults who are working full-time is already at just 47% and falling, this would cause an uptick in unemployment too great for the Democrats’ media to talk away. Even the dumbest of rank and file Democrats would see through the lies. This would undoubtedly lead to a repeat of the Democrat bloodbath of 2010.
While there were many criminal acts committed in the process of cramming “free” healthcare down our throats, the worst was the sickening conduct of Chief Justice John Roberts. Roberts made a 180 degree turn on common sense and argued for something Obama’s lawyers didn’t dare assert, calling the bill’s individual mandate to buy healthcare a “tax” and thus saving it from being struck down as unconstitutional. Why? Maybe because he was being blackmailed over the circumstances of the adoption of his children; but as Hillary said, “What difference does it make?”
Roberts is Roberts; the finger of blame must be swung around to point at Charles Krauthammer and George Will, two of the faux conservatives the media gives us while laughing behind our backs.
Both of these men were actually either dense enough or disingenuous enough to defend Roberts’ “logic.” With a straight face, these two “sages” argued that Roberts’ ruling was true conservatism of the kind only THEY were mentally adroit enough to see. Well now, all three have been proven wrong: Obamacare was and never will be a “tax”; it was never and never will be conservative in any sense of the word.
Shame on you all: a liar and two enablers.
