It seems to me that what is missing in the top two contenders for the Republican presidential nomination is passion.
While Ron Paul speaks with passion of the Federal Reserve and Rick Santorum speaks with passion about life, Newt Gingrich speaks passionately mostly about Mitt Romney; and Mitt, it seems, merely speaks in sound bites.
I don’t know about you, but I want to see them seek to build their own shining city on a hill such as that my dad envisioned, and not simply attempt to recreate that vision and make it their own..
I want them to stop speaking merely in sound bites, but rather to speak to me in parables to which I can relate. I want to feel their speeches, not just hear them. It needs to be more than “I’m not Mitt,” or “I can beat Obama.” I want them to convince me they really mean what they say, not what they think I want to hear.
If indeed Newt and Mitt can find the passion of Rick Santorum, and even that of my dad, they will go a long way towards winning not only the Republican nomination, but also the presidency itself. As many readers know, I have endorsed Newt and traveled with him on the campaign trail as a private citizen, but he can do better in this respect.
We Americans prefer to hear the real truth, not what politicians want us to hear. In the era of Barack Obama the message we hear from Washington is, “Trust me, we know what is good for you.”
That’s the message of tyrants, as many who lived under Hitler and Mussolini discovered as they were herded into concentration camps.
In those dreadful times, Germans, Italians and others under their rule were fed slogans such as those seen on signs above the entrances of concentration camps: “Arbeit Makt Frei — Work Makes Freedom.” To the Nazis and Fascists, freedom and death and work and slavery were conflated with respect to individuals; all that mattered was the state.
One of the early signs of an incoming dictatorship is a government’s attack on the Christian church. Tragically, we are beginning to see something like that now, in the Army’s attempt to censor chaplains — to tell them what they can or cannot say in their sermons.
The government in this case appears to believe that it is superior to any religion — that it is entitled to overrule the doctrines of faith by which all legitimate religious organizations live. We must, in their view, submit our articles of faith for government review and tolerance.
Accept this and bid freedom of religion farewell. Let’s find the passion to make Obama a one-term president.

Maybe part of your problem is that you don't recognize passion when you see it or that passion regarding
one thing can also cover a lot of other things when viewed in light of what it is. From where I sit and view the situation it seems to me that Dr. Ron Paul is the only one who has been in Washington, DC long enough to know our problems stem from the federal reserve bank which isn't even owned by Americans, much less the federal government. When he speaks with passion regarding the federal reserve he is also speaking with passion against the one world global government, aka the new world order (nwo), as he surely knows that the federal reserve bank is owned by the nwo elitists, who are working to destroy this country and our Constitution, our faith in our Creator and our traditions and our family values. Surely by now all of us have noticed what the radicals in the federal government are doing.
You mentioned that the military chaplains are being told what they can or cannot say in their services.
Are you unaware that chaplains in veteran's cemeteries are also not allowed to even say the Lord's Prayer unless written permission is requested and granted before the funeral?
There are many other things that I could mention, but look up India's study on the GMO produce and why they outlawed Monsanto's GMO seeds and then ask yourself why the FDA (our food safety agency) is refusing to label GMO produce or irradiated produce or turning deaf ears and blind eyes to all the MSG
(monosodium glutamate) hidden under other bogus names in most of our processed foods, instead of enforcing the law that says that when MSG is in the food, it must be listed in the ingredients. The FDA also refuses to make them label BGH milk which is now being connected to breast cancer. Do a little
research on excitotoxins to find out what harm MSG and aspartame does to our bodies.
In case you have trouble finding India's results on their study of feeding GMO produce to living "critters", it only took 3 generations for their critter's to stop producing litters – each generation from the beginning of the study until the end of the study, produced llitters of smaller number and smaller in birth weight — the significance of this is extinction or death. A recent article in the newspaper reported that 1/4th of the corn crop in the NE USA this year will be Monsanto's GMO seeds corn, and that 3 years from now the entire crop will be Monsanto's GMO crops.
They are also releasing a GMO grass seed this year? I'll let you answer the WHY for yourself ! My conjecture is that they not only plan to wipe out the farm animals, but the wild life also. WHY?
The two MAJOR EXCITOTOXINS are MSG and ASPARTAME.
That sodium fluoride in a lot of our public water supplies is the same sodium fluoride the Germans used on the WW ll victims awaiting death in the gas chambers, to keep them under control. A Neurology Journal article back in the late 70's stated that the amount allowed in our drinking water (l part per million)
was the same amount that caused dementia or alzheimer's disease. Fluoride is also being connected to cancer of the bones and other unwanted problems.
If you still think you only get MSG laden food when you eat stir fried (Asian), just type "names MSG hidden under" in your search window and I hope you have a printer, because it is almost a sheet full. Take that sheet into your kitchen and look at everything in there including your raw meats, all dressings, spices, etc. Also go look for those bogus names on the baby foods and formulas. Anyone know a source of Bouilion cubes or powder that does not contain MSG or aspartame?
Carbonated beverages went off my food list when I became certain they damaged the kidneys in the 70's, but I didn't know why they did. An article I read during the last year gave the probable cause. It seems if you read the ingredient list you will find sodium benzoate listed as a preservative, which is fine by itself. But you will also find citric acid or some other form of vitamin C which causes a chemical reaction between the sodium benzoate and the vitamin C which converts the sodium benzoate back into benzene. Type benzene adverse reactions into your search window. Cancer of the kidneys comes out right at the top and that was where I stopped reading for anything other damages.
I have noticed those same two ingredients listed on sports drinks, fruit drinks and even fruit juice lately!
WAKE UP – PEOPLE ! Do a little research on line to find out how long nwo has been poisoning us in our foods and drinks. STOP WAITING FOR OTHERS TO DO IT FOR YOU !

Information that JF Kennedy's assassination followed an executive order he signed denying the federal reserve to print dollars or any other form of money for the USA, and then declaring that the federal reserve was on its way out recently surfaced. The nwo plays very dirty and has been for quite a few decades at least. That is why a lot of these guys are folding. Sooner or later they are going to have to wake up to the reality that they have been poisoning their families for a long time. They are just putting it off by folding, whether to fear or to greed as many of our career politicians obviously have.
I have read on the internet just today, about human hair being used in bread and baked goods, as a dough conditioner. They supposedly treat it some way, and I guess make it into a powder. It also said it comes from China, and sometimes is hair from the floor of barbershops. I can hardly believe this is true, and am trying to find out for certain whether or not it is true. I will not eat any bread, cookies, rolls, pizza, or anything made from dough until I find out the truth. If it is true, I will be baking my own bread and cookies from now on. They claim it is not in flour made for home use. If you want to check this out, the ingredient made from hair, and sometimes chicken feathers, is called L Cysteine, and by law, it does not have to be listed on the ingredients label on a loaf of bread. Go on the internet and just type in, "are we eating human hair in our bread". God only knows what else they are putting in our food that we don't know about. If anyone knows the real answer to this, please let me know.
The only candidate running for president that is telling us the truth is Ron Paul.
He is the only one that never voted for anything that didn't fit the Constitution.
If we want our country back………….we should vote for Ron Paul.
