One of the members of our team, who regularly checks our webstats, sent me a printout of people reading our website, ImpeachObamaCampaign.com. It showed that one our loyal visitors is the Department of Homeland Security.
In fact, it seems someone at the DHS checks in roughly once or twice a day. (At least, those are the only visits we detected.)
Apparently “White House Watch” is a two-way street.
Of course, we know why you’re doing this. You hate conservatives. For years, you have tried to dehumanize us and accuse us of terrorism, from the Holocaust Museum to Gabrielle Giffords’ tragic shooting (which was perpetrated by the psychotic son of hippie parents). Your agency even released a factually challenged report cum libel in 2009 claiming “rightwing [sic.] extremists during the 1990s exploited a variety of social issues” including “same-sex marriage” to stoke terrorist assaults like Waco. (They did not.) This official DHS report concluded “that lone wolves and small terrorist cells embracing violent rightwing [sic.] extremist ideology are the most dangerous domestic terrorism threat in the United States.” President Obama echoed this faulty assessment this week, saying, “The most likely scenario that we have to guard against right now ends up being more of a lone wolf operation than a large, well-coordinated terrorist attack.” He then invoked Norway’s Anders Behring Breivik, who committed his deeds shortly after the DHS released a video portraying terrorists as average, middle Americans (and white, like Breivik).
We know we’re not the only ones you’re watching.
Bob Unruh of WND revealed last month that the DHS is monitoring the Last Days Watchman blog, a website run by Julio Severo, a pro-traditional marriage activist.
Heck, I reported last October that Planned Parenthood gave a presentation to the DHS and the FBI inviting you to spy on:
[T]hree pages of “Anti-Abortion Web Sites,” including such malefactors as the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), National Right to Life, Concerned Women for America, the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform, Priests for Life, the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), American Life League, Human Life International, Pro-Life Action League, BlackGenocide.org, the Pro-Life Alliance of Gays and Lesbians, and a website dedicated to exposing the birth control pill.
I wrote at the time, “We are disappointed this website was launched too late for inclusion.” Thanks for catching that. This is the kind of constituent service we expect when we work until April 12 just to pay our taxes.
It’s an unusual honor to be included in the ranks of those under government surveillance. But we wish you would stop cyberstalking Joseph Farah and Phyllis Schlafly (or for that matter Alex Jones and Jeff Rense) long enough to rethink your agency’s position. After all, you base who you will watch based on who you think is most likely to start killing people. Somehow, you let your ideology blind you to the facts, and you decided conservatives were more likely to foment terrorism than people like Nidal Hasan, the Lackawanna Six, the Fort Dix jihadists, John Walker Lindh, al-Qaeda spokesman Adam Gadahn, etc.
Instead of monitoring radical Islamists, one of the employees in your department — Juliette Kayyem, the assistant secretary for intergovernmental affairs at the DHS — wrote an op-ed in the Boston Globe promoting Al Jazeera, which we already finance with our tax dollars.
Barack Obama thought he could talk anyone into anything. He thought if he just worked some of his teleprompter-fueled magic the Muslim world’s antipathy to the West would drop as surely as the sea levels. The only people impervious to his snake-charm, he thought, were Bible-believing Rush Limbaugh listeners and pro-life patriots. He convinced you that if you coddled Muslim extremists and spied on everyone to the right of Charles Krauthammer, you could stop all terrorism within months.
Face it, you screwed up.
Why don’t you stop strip-searching helpless grandmothers, confiscating pregnant diabetics’ insulin, and committing criminal acts of pedophilia at the airport and admit not all Americans are equally likely to start hoisting guns and screaming, “Allahu Akbar!” Why don’t you realize these flyover-country bumpkins you ridicule are just decent, church-going Americans who get a little emotional when they wave the flag, who love this country (at least) as much as you do, and who take pride in their Founding Fathers — and who get just a little bit peeved when Chicago thugs abuse our Constitution in order to spy on and bully their political opponents? Why don’t you do something to justify your salary?
While you’re here, at least be sure to click on the Google ads. Your president believes it is only fair to “spread the wealth around.” Besides, if this website goes out of business, you might have to put down your Cheetos, get out from behind that desk, learn to recite the Koran in its original Arabic, and go find some real extremists — who won’t write you kind messages like this when they find out you’ve been watching them.

In reference to Obama attempting to forge a partnership between manufacturers in several states and academia — in order to revitalize American factories — Bloom apparently saw something Mao-esque in the way government was attempting to support private business, stating the approach would, “let the great thousand flowers bloom in America.”
If that sounds familiar, it should.
While the correct wording is in fact a “hundred flowers,” there is no question as to where the phrase derives from. Back in the summer of 1957 in the People’s Republic of China, a movement emerged called the “Hundred Flowers Campaign,” during which the Communist Party allegedly encouraged those with diverse view points to step forward and share their ideas with a view to “letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend is the policy for promoting progress in the arts and the sciences and a flourishing socialist culture in our land.”
Of course it was all a ploy, implemented to out as many free-thinkers and dissidents as the regime possibly could. Not surprisingly, Mao punished many who participated in the Hundred Flowers Movement until finally reimposing his oppressive policy on public expression.

I'm afraid that 2012 will be a year that Obama and his cronies will blatantly disregard any and all laws, more so than ever, to make sure he is re elected. Who will say or do anything after he is re elected? NO ONE! Just look at all the criminal things that have happened in the last 2 1/2 years that have gone on without a challenge.
I do not believe the elections of 2012 will resolve this problem. In fact, demonizing perceived enemies has been a government institution since the 50's. Both Republican and Democrat administrations have either actively supported it, or turned a blind eye to domestic surveillance. Congress fails to move on these out-of-control thugs because of "raw files" that the FBI, CIA, NSA, DOD and others, keep on congressmen and senators. Information contained in the raw files is something that elected pols do not want in the public domain. Blackmail? Yep! Extortion? Yep! No election can change that.
Congrats! You have finally arrived. Mike Vanderboegh has had several federal agencies hitting HIS site for months. When you start getting your mail only a couple of times a month and in bundles, you will know you have hit the BIG TIME.

In the past, I have detected hits on my paleocon blog from DHS, the White House and the FBI Academy. I recently discovered evidence that my blog is being data mined, but that apparently is standard fare these days, given all the fancy new data mining programs the Feds are purchasing from various corporate vendors. (Google "data mining"; "text mining"; "total information awareness").
Yes, they are looking in. Meanwhile, the Jihadis prepare for the next strike. Maybe the Feds can stave it off, and maybe they can't. One thing's for sure, the Jihadis are a lot more intelligent and resourceful than we give them credit for, and the fact that strikes are few and far between has little to do with what the DHS does or doesn't do, and much to do with overall Jihadi strategy. Meanwhile, liberty dies.

Shucks. I thought the government was smarter than all this. Well, I really didn't. I dreamed last night that Obama was Voldemort, you know, the evil wizard in the Harry Potter books. I dreamed that after I heard, yesterday, that the Gibson Guitar Company had been raided by the Federal Gov't. Three or four times. I was treated to an interview with the head of the company, I guess the CEO, and learned that if he had only confessed to the things his accusers wanted him to, he would have been let off, scott free. Thankfully, this man stuck to the truth, and was not stupid enough or scared enough to buy into their tactics. He told the truth. He did not go to prison for agreeing with them and having said or signed a paper that said he was guilty of what ever crime he was supposedly guilty of. I believe it was buying rosewood from India. These servants of the citizens of America arrested all 300 or 400 of the workers at this Gibson Guitar factory. I don't know what you think, but this reminds me of Hitler's regime. Obama has outlawed gold boullion and drilling for oil in this country. He is making a grand attempt to put the Boeing plant in South Carolina out of business, then telling us on television that he is trying to make jobs for us. He had his people go to an Amish settlement that sold unpasteurized milk. This is legal. The men who were sent there broke down the man's place of business, physically, and arrested the man. Put him in prison. Other businesses have been raided the same way, and the owners imprisoned. I don't think this is funny, and I think it is an abomination that our representatives in Washington D.C. have failed to arrest Obama and his cabinet and imprison them. They are, all of them, guilty of crimes committed while in office. How can I say that? Guilt by association. Get yourself a Constitution. Look it up. And now Obama is trying to make sure it is not a crime to use someone else's SSN. How much longer are going to let this go on?? Are we going to allow ourselves to be as cowardly as our representatives? What are we going to do? I don't think we will get a vote. I think we will be bullied or cheated out of a vote. We need to do something now. Who is with me?
