It’s still one of the hottest topics on TV news — President Obama’s weak-kneed statement on Thursday that the United States doesn’t have a strategy for combatting the fearsome terror threat from the Islamic State, ISIS. We predicted (correctly) yesterday that the White House would soon try to back away from the president’s gaffe.
And we told you how the starting revelation from the Commander in Chief set twitter on fire with reaction like this:
No strategy for ISIS yet, but 3 fundraisers and an MSNBC host’s wedding to attend tomorrow. Laugh or cry? pic.twitter.com/aNOmPCbLqO

House Intel Chair Rogers told @megynkelly — “as dangerous a threat matrix as I have ever seen” — how can President say “no strategy”?

On Fox News, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) blasted Obama for essentially informing ISIS that the U.S. is not sure what to do about the rapidly spreading Islamic State. And Gohmert compared the president to a clueless TV character — the bumbling deputy of Mayberry, Barney Fife. (see video above)
