I do not think in the grand scheme of things the color of skin matters. Obama, Pelosi, Durbin, Shumer, etc don't care for the color they just enjoy passing out our tax dollars with very little restrictions. My youngest daughter is married to a guy who thinks American life is about gaming the system. I have had numerous heated arguments with them and my only solace is in this state only 70 months on food stamps then you have to fend for yourselves. I dropped that little bombshell on them the other day…The stunned look on their faces was worth a million bucks. I taught her right and wrong, she has chosen the path of non-responsibility.

Another reason why there need to be stricter rule governing who gets aid. If this joker can afford a video camera he does not need food stamps. As well fast food chains of any kind should not be allowed. only grocery stores. I have seen people paying for slurpees with their food stamp cards. Tighten up the rules and see how many millions of dollars are saved.
I can go one better than that. When i worked in a store in NC they would come in and buy a piece of gum with a 1 dollar food stamp. (anything under that you have to give back change for) then they would either buy beer or put the change in there gas tank. People that want to game the system knows all the back door ways.
I saw a news article a while back a store had cases of water on sale incredibly cheap, two guys came in purchased 24 cases, the store owner found them behind the store dumping the water so they could get the value on the recyclable plastic. Food stamps have also been blatantly put up for sale on FaceBook. The problem is the government does not really care about how that money is spent. In many neighborhoods a food stamp card pays for sombodies habit while their kids eat cereal with no milk.
Disgusting! It used to be embarrassing to be on food stamps. Now they treat it like some badge of honor. All the while they're eating off the backs of everyone else. This guy looks healthy enough to have a job. Oh, that's right. If the whole country is dependent on the government, they totally control us. Good game plan – seems to be working wth a ton of people. (Note: I do believe in food stamps to hold over families that have lost jobs until they're able to get back on their feet. But there is so much abuse of this system along with unemployment that it makes me cringe.)
And you want to know whats wrong with OUR COUNTRY. AND we set around and let the sorry asses get away with it. Take the card away or change it so they can only get milk , bread, butter and corn meal, enough to live on.

Absolutely – if things are so tight that you need Food Stamps then the only thing you should be allowed to buy with them are basic staples – but then again, they would starve without pre-made food.
I want to know how much these people get on their EBT? I only get 84.00 a month for my wife and me total. How can these idiots get all this food? I can barely eat out of cans of Raviolli with my benefits.

In Washington State, the EBT people are using them to get cash at the CASINO'S to gamble on, and they don't even thank we tax payers for the money.
I watched that happen in the late 60's nothing has changed.It's a generational thing.One man I worked with got 5 sets of food stamps,sold 4.Lived in Gov. housing at $45.00 a month & only worked 3 days a week to keep his rent at $45. If I had missed 2 days a week,I would have been fired.The company was terrified of the NAACP ,so they did nothing.He was addicted to codeine.

For some reason I can't get this video to play but I get the gist – I think we need to go back to people picking up their Welfare box with rice, beans, cheese and dried milk in them. Also, I understand there is another state using a urine test. If it shows drugs, they have to pay for the test (good luck) and they get nothing….will this start more crime though? We also need to put the Welfare people on a time schedule. After two years or even four years they're off. Obama needs to get rid of some of his czars and use that money to pay for people to make sure the people getting welfare are legitimate – no new cars, no fancy homes, gold jewlery, etc.

There are misuses of every public program ranging from the safe haven laws all the way up to appointed government jobs. Shall we just get rid of all of these programs and say that everyone has to scrap their own way through life? Just because people are willing to trade their access to food for material possessions doesn't mean we're going to shut down EBT. Just because politicians are siphoning billions to their pockets doesn't mean we're going to shut down the country.
That is exactly what happens with the EBT cards. I've witnessed the products purchased with those cards. While we are buying bologna, they are buying truckloads of steaks, junk food whatever they want. Those on drugs sell their cards. Drug tests should be a requirement for any assistance. Remember, a government big enough to give you everything you want is strong enough to take away everything you have.
This is how socialists create and keep divisions between citizens. Create a permanent underclass with an entitlement attitude. Demean a man until he feels pride in his underclass. Make sure that there is enough visible physical differences in the underclass creating schism and "racist" (there is only one race – it is the human race) attitudes. Make those who work feel burdened with those who feel they are entitled … viola! divide and conquer!
We are all created equal. It is only those who wish to destroy mankind who do such things as create the "Great Society." Do all that can be done to destroy critical thinking skills. Use government schools to do so. But folks, we are Americans; and that is why homeschooling is one of the fastest growing phenomenons. Freedom will again regain primacy in America.
