Ok, so if the rest of the NFL gets behind this man, maybe my opinion of the whole league will improve. So far, I have a low opinion of the whole lot of these overpaid, overdone gamers. Sorry if I have offended fans of this game, but I have never seen the importance of such things as this. I know, national pride and all that, but it changes nothing in the grand scheme of things. If it helped our nation any, my attitude might undego a change. But until more of these overpaid, prima donnas stand up and say what this man has said, my attitude stays the same. And, do please, please, drop the “african” bullcrap here. Either you are an AMERICAN, or you are AN AFRICAN! So what if your ancestors were of African descent, no one really cares, as long as what you are now is an AMERICAN!? As I have said before, I am of English descent, so should I say “english american”? Or, those who are of Russian heritage say “russian american”? This is getting really old and tired, all of this “african american” tripe. Americans, we are ALL AMERICANS ALREADY! This business of always putting the “african” in front of American is half the problems today, because these “african” Americans want to forget that they are AMERICAN BY BIRTH! And thus, they divide themselves from the rest of we Americans, it is THEIR CHOICE! But, we are blamed for the FACT that they have SET THEMSELVES APART FROM THE REST OF AMERICA AND THE AMERICAN CITIZENS! I wish just once, that one of these Patriotic Black people would say this, that, WE ARE ALL AMERICANS, our ANCESTORS WERE OF AFRICAN BIRTH, WE ARE NOT, WE WERE BORN IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND AS SUCH, WE ARE BLACK AMERICANS, JUST AMERICANS WITH DARK SKIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is this TOO MUCH TO ASK OF THOSE WHO WERE BORN IN AMERICA???? I am “English AMERICAN” so, should we all stick our ancestor’s birth places in FRONT OF WHAT WE ARE TODAY?????
Oh, PS………We all know that your heritage is of that which is most likely Africa, we can look at you and conclude this as logical. There is absolutely no need to remind everyone of the fact that your ancestors came from Africa, or that your ancestors were also more than likely slaves. But the fact is, it was your own African ancestors being sold into slavery by their OWN RACE OF PEOPLE! Sold to the Dutch traders as spoils of war between tribes. And human nature being what it is, basically evil, carnal nature, which is born into every human ever born, except Jesus Christ, it is called “supply and demand”, and there was a demand for slaves back then, in more than just this country, and so the supply of slaves was met in this manner, African tribes fighting against one another, capturing their own kind, and selling them to the white traders, mostly the Dutch India Company and others like them. This was the way it was then. But it is no longer the WAY IT IS! Slavery was abolished, America no longer used slavery as a method of getting work done. The way it is now, every American citizen is free to do as they wish, to work, buy homes, and to vote. And to USE WISDOM when choosing someone to PROTECT AND DEFEND OUR NATION! Against all enemies, foreign and domestic. It would help if the BLACK people of America, the BLACK AMERICANS, used this freedom of choice, and used the wisdom that God gave us all, to CHOOSE WISELY! Or, WISER! As the case is now, WISE CHOICES FOR ALL OF US, WHITE AND BLACK AND IN BETWEEN! No more “african” american, only AMERICAN PLEASE!!!!!
