I am speechless and in tears. Everything you said is true and my heart bleeds for what is happening and what will happen in the future. If each of us does SOMETHING to stop this, even if in a small way, we can reverse all the damage done. This is not the America I know anymore.
My great-grandparents came from Sicily, worked hard, raised a bunch of kids and left my grandparents a great country, who in turn left my parents a great country, who in turn left me a great country. Now, look at what has happened. I fear for my children's and grandchildren's future too. I'm 72 yrs old and for the first time in my life I'm afraid of those in power, so I fight them in any way I can, be it petitions, donations, phone calls, support for those trying to save our country. We have to stand together if we want things to change. I pray for each and every one of you and hope you can take was Mr. Levin has said to heart and realize how dire our situation really is.
I would like to believe him, in what he is saying, but correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't he one of the Republican Pundits that was advocating for us to turn in our guns, and to do away with the 2nd Amendment? What happened to change his mind from just a few weeks ago, when he was advocating for that, till his stance now of needing to do whatever we can do, to get Obama out of the White House and to Bring back our economy for our children, and our children's children. I would hope during that time, if there was another Banana Dictatorship during their lives, that they would still be able to defend themselves and their Rights, the same way we are able to safeguard our Rights right now.
