I read the other day in a marine shipping industry magazine that there is more supply in crude oil around the world and less demand. Oil tankers are being moth-balled. Daily shipping rates have fallen by 50% for tankers.
Yet the price of crude oil remains fairly high and gasoline prices are $4 a gallon or close.
I'd bet that soros is manipulating the markets to keep fuel prices high here in America. Where's a good military coup when you need one. Soros needs to go down, his $48 billion redistributed to all the producers of this country and obama should be locked up for life.
If Soros was out of the picture then obummeer and his administration would be gone too! Go away Soros!!!!!!!!!
This is true…during the Bush administration, there were 100s of barrels of crude pulled across the ponds and are stored along the UK banks and beyond….this is exactly what is hurting us. Too, my fiance', at that time, talked with a captain of one of the ships waiting to dock..he said, "we cannot dock for weeks because of the backlog of oil that is not being unloaded in a timely manner…this was almost three years ago now friends.
The Republicans know this too so what in the heck is the game they are playing? Corrupt and if as Issa has determined, then why is not the House doing something to end it?
I try to keep up to date in financial & economic matter, as an investor. As far as I know, world output of oil now matches fairly closely world consumption of oil. In recessions, oil demand drops, so less oil gets refined and, yes, oil shipments can get backed up at refineries or oil depots already full of oil. But with increasing demand for oil (especially in China), new production can't keep pace… so oil prices can be expected to rise, especially when oil cartels try also to artificially fix oil prices & production, when given the opportunity.
America has, unfortunately, never had a coherent energy policy. In fact, the Federal government has pursued policies hindering a normal Market response to the problem, which is a good example of how dysfunctional America has become.

Forcing people to drive smaller cars, or GM voltz, doesn't lower the price of gasoline. It does, however make it look like inflation isn't as bad, when you have to drive a smaller car, live in a cold house in the winter, and eat vegies instead of meat [this is how people live in 3rd world countries, and even Europe live], but none of this lowers prices and creates jobs like drilling for oil in the USA will.

Over the years, I have seen 11 POTUS sit in the Oval Office, and each one had their pet projects. Until now, I had looked on Carter as being the worst of the lot, but this POTUS has thet President of the 1970s beat. The very obvious effort to push the cost of energy up to european levels, which quite frankly will bankrupt anyone earning less than $35,000 a year, and again quite frankly…that's most of us. Those of us on a fixed income, and living single, are going to have very serious issues in regard to heating our homes in the winter. For seniors the option to re-marry is primarily only on the senior male's side, because if we widow's choose to re-marry we lose the widow's pension benefits that we have built for our future. Social Security now allows us to re-marry without losing benefits, but that's only one source of senior pension. This escalating, as in skyrocketing, energy cost will force seniors to "shack-up" or otherwise partner with their adult children, just to survive. To me, this POTUS's fiscal policy is completely criminal.

I believe history will record that it was primarily the elite bankers (the private banking cartel of the Federal Reserve plus the European Central bankers), along with corrupt big business & unions, that were able to "buy" US politicians (via massive campaign contributions for perpetual re-election). But they don't want to permit that either!

Obama has still not released an original copy of his Long Form Birth Certificate to be examined by experts in forgery. Whatever photocopy he released has not settled the issue, in fact it raised more suspicions. On top of that, even Obama admits he was a dual (British & US) citizen at birth & other documents show he was a "tri-citizen" (British, US & Indonesian) at one point. The US Supreme Court needs to rule if he qualifies as a "natural born" US citizen (as opposed to a "native born" US citizen IF he was born in Hawaii).
Now this probable unlawful President is busy destroying this nation as fast as possible by making energy increasingly unaffordable, refusing to cut Federal spending, drastically growing the size & scope of government & increasingly restricting our freedoms. The clock is ticking and will soon arrive when the USA goes bankrupt unless DRASTIC cuts in Federal spending are agreed upon & the Federal budget is balanced. Well of course he ispushing high gas prices – he is pushing the electric car— look how much money we have given to the Volt. Also placing a moritorium on oil drilling and giving oil companies very few if any permits to explore our enormous quantity of crude through out our country. We have not built refineries for years. He is pushing ethinol and electric car plug in stations. He just authorized to purchase 101 Volts. Why?????
