I hope you remember the song released at FloydReports.com entitled “Salt In The Wound” by Rita Jones. She wrote it to protest the Mosque at gropund zero. Muslim protests got the song shut down at 455,000 hits in less than a week. But the message got out about the Mosque.

I think that the jingoistic singer's advocacy of stopping all foreign trade and insisting upon "union labels" is a bridge too far.
We need to align our costs for international competition and encourage business, through more rational tax and regulatory structures. We need to rein in the banks and destructive government policies. We need far less government and certainly far, far less Socialism.
South Dakota is building the 1st oil refinery since '78 and drilling for
SD's own oil near Bear Butte. Their legislature recently passed legislation to
support development of our natural resources. No news on this nationally.

Really good song! Thanks Rita! People have been fighting to get the truth out about Obama since the day he was illegally sworn in. But, its like banging your head against a brick wall. Why? There isn't one Judge out there that will listen and go against Obama. Its really scary and my faith is slowly running out. Ya'll are kinda missing the point he is making in the song. We might not be able to control what DC does, but we CAN do something about our economy simply by purchasing ONLY products made in America.
The easiest way to tell if something is made in America is look at the bar code. If the leading digit to the left of the bar code is a zero, it is made in America. Nealy all the store brands are made here in American. They are cheaper to buy and most often than not, perform better than the big name brands that are mostly imported.
In addition, buy only American made gas. The following gas companies do NOT import foreign oil: Sunco, Conoco, OASinclair, BP/Phillips, Hess, ARCO, Maverick, Flying J, Valero and Murphy Oil USA which is sold at Wal-Mart stores. I have found gas at these stations to be at least 10 cents a gallon cheaper.
Also, I have discovered that Wal-Mart contracts with local farmers for the bulk of their meats and produce. ALL of Wal-Mart's store brands are made in America.
The left loves to demonize Wal-Mart, but they do at least some things right.
Great Song, Drives home the sad but true point that we are no longer self dependent but depend heavily on other nations for goods. Blame the EPA and the government for this problem, congress has made it too expensive to manufacture in the USA.

The unions are responsible for companies sending work over seas. Workers kept wanting more money and people couldn’t afford to pay the higher prices the higher wages brought. Cars made in America weren’t as good as Toyota and Nissan. It is hard to fire union workers. The unions and George Soros backed Obama. All three of them are doing everything they can to bring our country down. It is very disturbing to hear of the corruption in Washington and know that the people we elect that get paid so well has got us so deep in debt. People do not know who to trust because they have been lied to so much. We didn’t have a good candidate from either party to choose from.
