Senator Babs Boxer of California appeared on Al Sharpton’s “program” yesterday and continued the phony liberal rhetoric about the “war on women.” I don’t think there is a more ignorant, idiotic person in the Senate. Sadly, Babs was just re-elected in November 2010, so she is with us for another four years.

Thank you for contacting me with your concerns about discharge proceedings against United States Marine, Sergeant Gary Stein. I appreciate hearing from you.
On April 5, 2012, a Marine Corps administrative board concluded that Sgt. Stein violated the Department of Defense policy regarding service members’ use of social media when he posted disparaging comments about President Obama and his leadership as Commander-in-Chief. Sgt. Stein also ignored guidance from his superiors about the ramifications of the postings.
Military personnel are prohibited from sponsoring or participating in political events while in uniform. Moreover, U.S. military personnel should execute their orders from leadership regardless of personal, political, or strategic differences in opinion. At the same time, the Pentagon must appropriately review its social media policy to reflect the increase of communication media.
The board’s recommendation to discharge Sgt. Stein will be reviewed by a General and may be taken up Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus if contested.
While there is no legislation addressing this issue at this time, I will keep your thoughts in mind in case this matter is taken up by Congress.
