The vote was 4 to 4 without Kanan's interference.
I would love to believe that Robert was on some med that made him foggy headed and easily swayed, but lets be honest here. Many people are on anti-seizure meds daily. They work, live and raise families just fine. If that is the excuse for this ruling, what about his involvement in other rulings?
Is Kagan the ONLY one on SCOTUS who can influence Roberts? Why didn't any of the ones trying to defeat oblameocare make an attempt at being influential for a nay vote?
I hate to say it but Robert's vote was probably bought. Large sums of money have a tendency to change peoples minds.
Common sense says greed was the deciding factor.
Either way, Kagan should have recused herself. She should NEVER had been allowed a vote.

So what this video announcer seems to be saying is, that because the "law" never really passed in the Senate but only deemed, and to avert a 2nd vote in the House that would have designated the effect of this law as a tax, the whole exercise is voided because the government attorneys inserted the word "tax" in its defense arguments and Roberts cleverly made that slip the basis for permitting this corrupt legislation to become voided — Now the Liberals cannot come back with a revised law that states this thing is a penalty which Congress, and future congresses, would not be able to alter. And, if they try, that process would be deemd "Res Judicata" by the majority of judges. The key was to flesh out Kennedy's position, make him the dissenting opinion author, thereby placing him on record in accordance with the conservatives. It's brilliant and Obama IS TOAST folks.. The Republicans are vocally stating that repeal is in the works, but that would take too much time before the election occurs. Have faith — because until both the Presidency or control of the Senate changes back to republican majority, nothing will substantially happen. This is the time to rise up against any democrat and put them out to pasture.. for good! Chief Justice wants this fundamental lack of change to come from the people, not the courts!!! This election is absolutely key to your survival – all Americans who are legitimately eligible to vote, must vote and vote for Republicans no matter what — simply because any Democrat will never be allowed to do the right thing. Pelosi et al will threaten their lives — as they all did in previous administrations. How else could O'Shama have become elected without any vetting??!!!
