It is the job of our elected officials to put this birther issue to rest. Each of these politicians took an oath to protect the constitution when you were sworn in and to put this back upon the people given the smell factor is just completely wrong. Some individual states have been working to add safeguards to certify that all candidates meet all Constitutional requirements. The most prominent of these efforts has been in Arizona, where the state legislature recently passed a law requiring all candidates to prove their Constitutional eligibility prior to being placed on the state's ballot. However, Governor Jan Brewer vetoed the bill on April 18, 2011.

I saw the video of Congressman Jeff Flake of Arizona 6ht District, at a town meeting and he was asked how he felt about the alleged birth certificate of Obama and what was he going to do. His answer was ironic of most of the Congressmen in WA,,,he said he believed Obama was eligible and he wasn't going to do anything. So between this idiot from Missouri and Flake you can see what Sheriff Joe Arpaio is up against. Apparently I don't understand something here because our Congressmen stink to high heaven. It is going to be up to Sheriff Joe to produce a criminal act just like he would do to any citizen. What bothers me the most about that, Obama is not just another citizen, he is holding the highest seat in the U.S. with many crazies standing with him, defending him and refuse to believe he is a usurper, a criminal of our Justice System under the Constitutional Laws. Why is there a Constitution, and an Oath taken to defend it, if it doesn't mean anything? Do any lawyers and Judges need ever to take an Oath? Does a citizen ever have to swear on the Bible to "tell the Truth, and Nothing but the Truth" apply anymore. Apparently it has no value to tell the truth so you can lie to the Justice System and it's legal. Is that what the people of this country want? People who rely on the government don't care, because they "think" the government will always take care of them, and who cares if we have a Constitutional President or a Dictator? That is the mentality of our Welfare population which has grown by leaps and bounds. I care, and I believe our laws have been screwed with so much till no one knows what the law truly says.
Will someone please tell me who, what, when and how was Nixon to be impeached but resigned instead. His crime was so small in comparison to Obama, it blows my mind. Dear God in heaven! I served in the army for 20 years and did 2 tours in Germany; once during the cold war and after the Berlin Wall fell.
