In an address to a Michigan Tea Party group in early May, former Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.) called for a government office to verify presidential candidates’ citizenship and lamented Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) opposition to questioning President Obama on his birthplace.
When asked about Obama’s birthplace, Hoekstra said he wanted to see a three-person governmental panel check candidates’ legal credentials to be president.
“At any future election someone would have to walk into that office and prove that they meet the minimum qualifications to be president of the United States,” he said, suggesting “an FBI person, maybe a CIA person and one person managing those two people” to run the proposed department.
Members of the so-called “birther” movement have continued to dispute the president’s American birthplace, despite overwhelming evidence that shows Obama was born in Hawaii and is a U.S. citizen.
Hoekstra didn’t address in the answer whether he thought Obama was a citizen, instead blaming McCain for not pursuing the question and saying the public debate on the matter had ended.

There is overwhelming evidence that Obama was NOT born in Hawaii. He admitted himself he was born in Kenya. What a disgrace. The Reps we have in congress and the Senate are not worth keeping, I say vote all of them out, every last one of them. Throw out all the laws Obama passed as well as all the regulations Cass Sunsteen has invoked, rip the EPA out of the Government and start over with a clean government.

Our fed law enforcement has proven to be politcized, Clinton began the process and this uncredentialed clown I think has made further inroads, so a party could very well influence the process of vetting just like the Deemers, communist and RINO's have corrupted this last prez election and managed to force a candidate with no credentials into the office. All I know of is a generated document of a birth certificate and a fake Selective Service Card. Even IF it was real, that's not overwhelming evidence.

Here is the part I don't understand, some one somewhere in Hawaii has to have been there when Obuma mother spit him out.There has to be a doctor nurse receptionist or a janitor that is still alive and can come forth and say yes I wasthere when the semi-jig was born.In todays world you can get any document you want made,when I was a kid and wanted to drink you could get phony IDs with no trouble.So what is so hard to believe that Obumer couldn't get a fake birth certificate and payoff the Hawaiians
