Congressman Frank R. Wolf, along with over twenty-five co-sponsors in the House of Representatives, has introduced House Resolution 824 to create a Special Committee to conduct a real investigation into the attack on the Benghazi consulate and CIA safe house. Wolf and others want to know why Barack Obama sent little if any help to save the four brave Americans who lost their lives and why this fact was covered up.
According to Congressman Wolf:
“The select committee I am proposing should draw from the existing congressional investigations by including the chairman and ranking member of each committee of jurisdiction—Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, Judiciary, Armed Services and Oversight and Reform—as well as five additional Republicans appointed by the Speaker and two additional Democrats appointed by the Minority Leader.”
Congressman Wolf continues: “We owe it to the families of the victims, and the American people, to fully investigate the terrorist attack.”
With the public’s help, let us hope Congress can finally get to the bottom of exactly what happened in Benghazi on September 11.
