I think his sign of the cross was very offensive, laughing and joking about it. Nice presentation with his young daughters standing there. I am not Catholic, but I have many many Catholic freinds, and if I am not mistaken the sign of the cross if very important to them. I was offended by it, and I am sure a lot of Americans were also, except of course the Athiests in the world, just goes to show once again what kind of a person Obama is, maybe he is tring to be as stupid a Biden.

I am Catholic and I was mortified. Just who does he think he is? You don't mock God or CHristians. Catholics aren't the only ones who use the sign of the cross. The Cross is our reminder of Jesus and what God did for us.

I don't believe in a religion that makes Mary, the virgin mother of Jesus, worshipped higher than our Lord and belief in good works needed to appease God and get into Heaven. All we as Christians need to do is believe in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who through His innocent death on the cross absolves us of our sins by His Grace alone, as long as we believe and repent of our sins and try to sin no more.
This is ignorance that a lot of Christians believe about Catholics. I am a Catholic and we believe the only way to heaven is through Jesus Christ, because He died on the cross for us, so we can enter heaven because of our faith. The Blessed Virgin has appeared to just about every country in the world. When she did appear, everything she said was Biblical. She said that she comes to magnify the Lord. She's made our Lord known in countries that never heard of Him. The Angel Gabriel greeted her with "Hail Mary, full of grace!" She was not like you and I during her stay on earth. She was the first human Arc of the Covenant. The Holy Spirit entered her before Jesus died on the cross, when the rest of us could accept the Holy Spirit. So, it makes me wonder when some very religious and wonderful TV programs say that Mary was just a woman like us! Her mother, Ann and Joachim were told by an angel, just like Abraham, that they would have a child. They were barren before that. She was chosen by God, to be his spouse. I don't understand why some people almost hate her! She went through the crucifixion with her son. Think about it. That is why she gave us the rosary. It has us contemplate His life, crucifixion, and resurrection. All of it is to magnify the Lord. She is our Mother. That is one of the last things Christ said on the cross.

I am glad to see enough people here are upset at this man's stupidity towards God, as I said before, the way to get him out of the white house is through prayer. For those who believe in the power of prayer, it works. Prayer is powerful, when two or more people pray on the same thing, God Listens. The sooner he is impeach the better off we will be as a country.
He should not be impeached, he should be brought up on charges of treason and hanged for it. If he was impeached he would walk away unscathed, laughing all the way to the bank.
