I don't imagine the Muslims have Bible Study, because that is not what they believe but they do close up a public, not a private street and do whatever it is they do. If he was Hispanic and holding a Catholic meeting, they would have thought twice because of the repercussions of offending such a huge chunk of the religious population. I too am a catholic but I can't feel sorry for the church,after all they pushed for him(obutthole) to become president.They gave him an honorary degree at Notre Dame and when he spoke at Georgetown they covered statues not to offend him now that he's sticking it up their rears they don't like it and neither do I.The catholic church teaches the 10 commandments but yet when they're for taxing the rich it seems to be a legal way to steal and that is against church teachings or so I thought.
Edward, you are right about the Notre Dame thing, however; the Catholic Church as a whole was against the honorary degree for Obama, and even letting him come talk, like nothing was wrong with it. It was being talked down on “The World Over” newscast with Raymond Arroyo, on EWTN. The Catholic Church as a whole was very disgruntled about it. There was a lot of friction with Notre Dame over this.
And by the way, the Catholic Church was not pushing for Obama’s election the first time, either, though it may have come across that way. I watched EWTN extensively during that time, and the message was clear: If you are a Catholic, you must not ever vote for someone who is pro-abortion. And they were talking a lot about Obama’s pro-abortion stance, especially as it applied to late-term and partial-birth abortion. Then they would talk about John McCain’s stance against abortion. It is a puzzlement why so many Catholics voted for O’Bummer. Polls are showing he has lost a lot of that support this time, however. Man, I hope he is not voted back in!
