Yes Obama has kept a couple of his promises!
The first one is to fundamentally transform America. We are almost a Marxist/Socialist nation now.
Another promise was to raise the price of gasoline to match that of the E.U.. He has also accomplished that one.
Can't forget he promised to raise our energy prices. We know he succeeded on that one.
He also promised to cripple the coal/NG/oil communities. That one is almost complete.
So you see, Obama HAS kept some of his promises!

somehow, i feel the "October surprise" will be martial law and elections cancelled. one reason that i am taking most of my vacation in the next month, with 2 week long trips to Vegas. all my guns are clean, my ammo is dry, and i will be ready to "go to work" after my last vacation.
