Barack Obama and his Democratic minions all claim to be lookng out for the middle and working classes, providing protection from the heartless Republicans and their evil followers, the rich. The question I have is, “why then is Obama allowing the enviro-facists to create such new hardships for those people that they profess to love”? What am I talking about, you might ask? Why is Obama and his EPA in Washington D.C. working so hard to send our utility bills skyhigh, destroy an entire industry, and put so many of these working class people out of work? Obama and the “greenies” have no cheap alternatives to coal, which provides us with most of our electrical supply, and yet they wanted the coal industry gone yesterday?
What is about to happen is that people on fixed incomes, the disabled, the poor, and just about anybody who is not rich,will see their utility bills become a major economic headache! We have more coal than OPEC has oil reserves; yet because of Obama and his “greenies” anti-fossil fuel agenda, American are about to find out what real hardships are all about.
This one particular case is just one of many that spotlights Obama’s obsession with getting his way, no matter who he hurts. It’s like Obama pushing the Chevy Volt. Who among you has $42,000 to spend on a car that only gets 40 miles per charge? Solar is out of reach for the average family in this country, as is wind power. By the way, if wind power is good, then why are the Dutch abandoning it? Now if we could surround Washington D.C. with windmills…..all the hot air would produce an abundace of energy. Forgive me ……I digress!
Obama can dream about alternative enrgy all he wants, but until it becomes practical, abundant, and cheap, the only thing that Obama and his “greenies” are going to accomplish is the destruction of the middle class. He will bring unnecessary suffering to those already on the line economically and despair to those who are barely holding on. By the way, the environmentalists are even fighting major wind and solar projects in California and New Mexico because of critter habitat or some such thing.
God put people on this earth to have dominion over all things, but the ‘greenies’ like to put humans way down the list of priorities when it comes to living. We don’t have an energy shortage in this country; we have a common sense shortage. It has manifested itself in Washington D.C., and it is shining in all its ridiculous day dreams for all the world to see. Let’s use our resources, spare our people the hardships of a concocted energy shortage, and show the world the power that America is for all to see.

environmentalists like liberals are of a diseased mind,if they really believed their own mantra they themselves would need to commit suicide because if they drive,use paper,electricity etc. they are just as guilty as anyone else who lives in society.
they are MORE guilty than the rest, they use MORE paper, drive MORE and steal MORE money from us than all the bank robbers combined in out country! They are the REAL ROBBERS, the RESPONSIBLE ONES FOR OUR NATIONAL DEBT AND FOR OUR ECONOMY BEING IN THE CRAPPER! We only use WHAT WE CAN AFFORD TO USE! How are we supposed to AFFORD A CAR that costs as much as these so called “green” ones do, when we can hardly pay our bills, and eat, right now? Due to the cost of gasoline, and as a result of the high prices of gasoline, food is sky rocketing! Those like myself, drive older cars that get 30 mpg, and drive only to and from work, and nowhere else, because we cannot afford even that half the time! And we eat what we can afford only. so, how does this freak of nature explain his “plan to help the poor” and others? He can’t. He won’t, because he has no explaination for it. Only that he is greedy, selfish, self centered, self concerned, and more, so much more. Evil is the one word that best describes this narcissist.
You are so right on the money with your statement Betsy!! All Obama has are inept and ineffectual Ideas, some might call them "Pie in the Sky" ideas. He comes out and says well harvest Algae to replace Gasoline, when it hasn't even been proven yet if Algae can even be turned into a fuel source. He has given more money away to his 2008 campaign contributors in the form of Loans and Grants, than more people in our "Local" (other than you full time "Big City" folk) communities will ever see in our lifetimes, and yet he is clapping his hands together for having an 8.1% Unemployment rate (cause most people no longer receive Unemployment Benefits any more and thus not counted), with over 13 million Americans out of work or 18 Million if you also count the underemployed (the old "Middle Management" that made between $50,000 and $200,000) that now work a minimum wage job flipping burgers cause that is all they could get in this "Economic Recession" (actually an Economic Depression and will only get worse as the EU states start to fail with their economies as Greece is).
