UNITED NATIONS – U.N. member states have failed to reach agreement on a new treaty to regulate the multibillion-dollar global arms trade.
Some diplomats and treaty supporters blamed the United States for triggering the unraveling of the month-long negotiating conference.
Hopes had been raised that agreement could be reached on a revised treaty text that closed some key loopholes by Friday’s deadline for action. But the United States announced Friday morning that it needed more time to consider the proposed treaty — and Russia and China then also asked for more time.
A bipartisan group of 51 U.S. senators on Thursday had threatened to oppose the global treaty regulating international weapons trade if it falls short in protecting the constitutional right to bear arms.

This is just a reprieve. The left just keeps reworking the language and bringing up their agenda over and over and over until it gets passed. They have slowly eroded our liberties by the same method. It's time to take a stand and return to the basics of our Constitution and let the rest of the world be damned!

No treaty that runs contrary to the words or intent of our Constitution are acceptable to the people. No restrictions on our sovereignty are acceptable. The UN is not America friendly.

Kill the entire idea of an international arms treaty. Do not allow the UN to dictate our ability to own firearms and how we use them.Get the UN out of the US and the US out of the UN.

Wear a tee shirt when you go to vote with your candidates names. Maybe film that, instead of the exit poll which always match the feigned election results. We have to out smart the thieving dullards somehow.

All the senate democrats democrats up for re-election don't want to vote on the treaty before Nov,. 6, because that would show their true colors and people would be very skeptical if any one of them would vote against the treaty because we know they really are for it.
But with Congress gone on vacation – bo, hillary, and the UN will be working in August to pass this treaty WHILE they are gone. Expect to hear results by the end of August…………….
