Politico: Birthers Are Nothing But Obama Haters

Those who have read  Politico in the past know that they are no friend to so-called “birthers”, much less conservatives and tea partiers. Just the other day, they attacked us again.

One of Politico’s minions, Alexander Burns, cleverly inserted a blatantly false comment in a piece he wrote about how voters don’t really seem to know much about the issues. Indeed, rather than debate us about our constitution and how it is at stake with this regime, we were also called “stupid.” Far-left Democratic pollster Tom Jensen of PPP (Public Policy Polling) had this to say:

The first lesson you learn as a pollster is that people are stupid…We’re seeing that kind of thing more and more. I think it’s a function of increased political polarization and voters just digging in their heels and refusing to consider the opposing facts once they’ve formed an opinion about something…I also think voters are showing a tendency to turn issues that should be factual or non-factual into opinions. If you show a Tennessee birther Obama’s birth certificate, they’re just going to say ‘well in my opinion he’s not a real American.’ It’s not about the birth certificate; it’s about expressing hatred for Obama in any form they can.”

What Mr. Jensen, Mr. Burns, and the rest of the idiots at Politico don’t get is that we Constitutionalists do not hate Obama just because of who he is. In fact, we don’t hate him, the person Barack Obama, at all. We just hate the fact that he is a pathological liar about nearly everything, from his birth certificate and educational background to his tenure in politics to his connections to unrepentent terrorists and other shady figures to his disastrous tenure as our president. This lie by the liberal media has been going on since Obama was first inaugurated; as you may remember, it started when they accused Rush Limbaugh of wanting Obama to fail when in fact Rush said that he wanted Obama’s socialist vision for the country to fail.

But then again, are you really that surprised? It’s not like the media has ever treated conservatives any differently, or that they are at least somewhat likely to treat us differently in the future.

RNC Head Demands Holder Investigate Obama’s “Apparent Crime”

Ben Johnson, The White House Watch

Although the Republican Party is often too complicit or cowardly to hold President Obama accountable for his actions, it is finally showing some tenacity in investigating Obama’s “apparent crime” of partisan fundraising inside the White House. On Monday, Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus wrote a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder “to request a Department of Justice investigation into an apparent crime committed by President Barack Obama.” In late June, Obama recorded the “Dinner with Barack and Joe” video, asking Democratic donors to enter a raffle to win dinner with the president and vice president, in the White House Map Room.

The Hatch Act makes it illegal to “solicit…a donation of money or other thing of value in connection with a Federal, State, or local election, while in any room or building occupied in the discharge of official duties.”

Priebus wrote, “The Map Room has been used for a myriad of official duties, including the administration of the oath of office to President Obama by Chief Justice Roberts and the launch of ‘The Campaign to Cut Waste.’”

“If President Obama recorded the video in the Map Room, then it appears he has committed a crime under federal law.”

Priebus noted in the letter he could have called for the appointment of a special prosecutor….

Will Obama Go Fascist on the Debt Ceiling?

Ben Johnson, The White House Watch

Barack Obama has sometimes been fond of branding his Republican foes “hostage-takers,” but officials in his administration have found a new hostage in their negotiations over raising the debt ceiling: the U.S. Constitution. The president’s advisers and several “unbiased” media outlets are suggesting if Congress refuses to raise the debt ceiling, Barack Obama can force the nation to continue borrowing money. The Founding Fathers required all expenditures originate in the House of Representatives, but Obama officials are wrapping his actions in the 14th Amendment. For the first time in living memory, the president is threatening to commit an impeachable offense if he does not get his way.

CBS News has reported the debt ceiling impasse leaves “the option of a congressional end-run by President Obama a possibility.” Reporter Whit Johnson said, “The stalemate in Washington has some asking if President Obama could simply bypass Congress and order the Treasury to keep borrowing.” Obama or his spokesman Jay Carney has been asked twice about the possibility and, despite an incredibly misleading headline from the Associated Press, neither rejected the possibility. (Carney merely said, “I don’t think that I want to get into speculation about what might happen if something does or doesn’t happen”; Obama replied, “I don’t think we should even get to the constitutional issue.”) MSNBC’s Powerwall dared the president to carry it out, claiming it would be smart politically.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, who has never shown much regard for financial laws, claims the president has this power under the Fourteenth Amendment. The fourth clause states:

The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned.

We Need to Stand with Darrell Issa

Suzanne Eovaldi, FloydReports.com

When aggressive progressives and animals that are cornered realize they’re losing, they fight harder and meaner, and no one knows this better than Darrell Issa.  He’s head of the GOP House Oversight Committee and the Democrats are going after him big time with a project called “The Third Lantern.”

A website called the Issa Files is looking to post as many public documents on Issa as they can find, and they’ve got the funding to make this happen.  “The purpose of this new group is to make public documents more public, make life difficult for Issa and sow seeds of doubt on his investigations,” say reporters Jake Sherman and John Bresnahan covering this mess for Politico.

When Issa revealed who and what he was going to poke into, the Left went wild.  Why? They don’t want him to gore their favorite oxen, such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Friends of Angelo, and the positively reprehensible intimidation of voters by the Black Panthers.

In an outstanding job of journalism, Politico says Issa wants to “investigate how regulation affects job creation, the roles of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the foreclosure crisis, recalls at the FDA and the failure of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission to agree on the causes of the market meltdown.”  The man is looking to toss aside some dirty rugs, put some well paid Democrats on the witness stand, get to the bottom of why Mac and Mae’s abuses let millions of hardworking Americans see their life savings flushed down the toilets of Wall Street.

Doctor Death Defeated? Dems Pull the Plug on Donald Berwick

Steven Ertelt, LifeNews.com

Senate Democrats have officially given up their fight to confirm Donald Berwick, the rationing advocate President Barack Obama nominated to become the administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and the chief implementer of Obamacare.

Berwick has been deluged with criticism from pro-life advocates, who cite his fondness for rationing and his failure to level with a Senate committee about his pro-rationing views.

Obama previously used a recess appointment to place Berwick in the prominent position after the Senate couldn’t find enough votes to overcome a Republican-led filibuster against his nomination. A recess appointment can be used when the Senate is not in session but the appointment is temporary and Berwick, if not confirmed by the Senate, has to leave the position by the end of the year. In January, Obama renominated Berwick to his current post.

However, a Politico report today indicates Democrats have given up any hope of confirming Berwick following a letter they received signed by 42 Republican senators who said they would continue pressing a filibuster against him. A White House spokesman indicated top Democrats “can do the arithmetic” and see no way to obtain the 60 votes necessary to cut off debate and proceed to a vote on Berwick’s nomination.

Democratic Senate Finance Committee staffers, according to Politico, met with top health care lobbyists on Friday and said the Berwick nomination is officially dead and there will be no committee hearing on his nomination. They said top Democrats would eventually discuss the “next steps” for a new nomination for the post.
