Obama: Screw Easter, Happy Ramadan!
Ben Johnson, The White House Watch

When he was elected president, Barack Obama expressed his desire to “fundamentally transform America.” On an economic level, that explains his plans to siphon wealth from productive citizens to the indolent, entrepreneurs to union thugs, and Main Street to Wall Street (and 142nd Street). Spiritually, it means redistributing respect from America’s majority religion to every splinter religion in the world’s pantheon. Although he could not be bothered to write a presidential statement celebrating Easter or acknowledging the severity of the Armenian genocide, the president of the United States has publicly commended Passover, Nowruz, Diwali, Eid-ul-Fitr, Hajj, and Eid-ul-Adha. (And he complains when no one believes he is a Christian.) He has praised the concept of umoja (black racial unity) while celebrating the phony, racist holiday of Kwanzaa. Now, he would like you to have a happy Ramadan. The president wrote….

Obama’s Faith Adviser: Pat Robertson No Different than Osama bin Laden
Aaron Klein, WND.com

President Obama’s faith adviser, Eboo Patel, likened television evangelist Pat Robertson to Osama bin Laden, calling both “totalitarians” who worked collectively against coexistence.
The statements by Patel mark the latest in a series of controversial remarks by the faith adviser to be reported by WND, including comments against the U.S. and Christianity.
In February 2010, Obama named Patel to his Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
Patel, a Muslim activist, is the founder and executive director of Chicago-based Interfaith Youth Core, which says it promotes pluralism by teaming people of different faiths on service projects.
In his 2007 book, Acts of Faith: The Story of an American Muslim, the Struggle for the Soul of a Generation, reviewed by WND, Patel compared Robertson to the now late al-Qaeda chief.
Wrote Patel: “Religious totalitarians have the unique advantage of being able to oppose each other and work together at the same time.
“Osama bin Laden says that Christians are out to destroy Muslims. Pat Robertson says that Muslims want only to dominate Christians. Bin Laden points to Pat Robertson as evidence of his case. Robertson points to bin Laden as proof of his.”
Continued Patel: “Bin Laden says he is moving Muslims to his side of the faith line. Robertson claims he is moving Christians to his. But if you look from a certain angle, you see that they are not on opposite sides at all. They are right next to each other, standing shoulder to shoulder, a most unlikely pair, two totalitarians working collectively against the dream of a common life together.”
Patel failed to point out bin Laden incited violence and directed and planned terrorism targeting civilians, while Robertson routinely condemns terrorism.
Robertson is the founder of numerous organizations and corporations, including the American Center for Law and Justice and the Christian Broadcasting Network.
He is the host of The 700 Club, which airs on cable channels throughout the United States and on CBN affiliates worldwide.
Obama Faith Adviser, and Ayers’ Friend: American Freedom and Justice are “Myths”
Aaron Klein, WND.com

Obama's faith adviser, Eboo Patel
President Obama’s faith adviser, Eboo Patel, blasted what he called the “myths” of America – describing them as beliefs that the country is “a land of freedom and equality and justice.”
Patel explained how he used the “faith-based movement” to channel his rage at America “in a direction far more compassionate and far more merciful.”
Patel, a Muslim activist from Chicago, further implied that had he grown up in the 1960s, he may have joined the Weather Underground terrorist group led by William Ayers.
Like Obama, Patel is deeply tied to Ayers, WND has learned.
In February 2010, Obama named Patel to his Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
Patel is the founder and executive director of Chicago-based Interfaith Youth Core, which says it promotes pluralism by teaming people of different faiths on service projects.
In a 2007 interview with NPR to promote a book he wrote that year, Patel was asked about his “affinity” toward the radicalism of Ayers, as described in the book.
Patel replied that his own life story “is much closer to Bill Ayers,” explaining he “grew up in the same hometown” that Ayers did.
Continued Patel: “I was kind of taught the same myths about America, a land of freedom and equality and justice, et cetera, et cetera.”
“And then, when I got to college, I saw people eating out of garbage cans for dinner, and I saw Vietnam vets drinking mouthwash for the alcohol, and I thought to myself, this is not the myth that I grew up with. And, in a way, I was so, I think, immature at that time politically, that all I could do was rage.”
Patel explained how he used religion to channel his rage toward America:
“And it was a faith-based movement that came into my life that kind of directed that rage in a direction far more compassionate and far more merciful.”
Obama’s faith adviser went on to say how he may have joined Ayers’ terrorist group if he was around as an activist in the 1960s.
“One of the things that I write about in this book is, you know, had it been one of the people involved in the Weather Underground, who were sitting at my kitchen table when I was 18 years old and raging, my life could have been very different,” he said.
“That I really thank God that it was a set of people who came into my life with a very clear vision of justice. But a sense of justice emanating from Divine Mercy.”
Patel has a much deeper relationship with Ayers than he admitted in the NPR interview.
In 2005, he co-authored a book with Ayers’ adopted son, Chesa Boudin.
The book, Letters from Young Activists: Today’s Rebels Speak Out, was co-written by several young radicals, including Ismail Khalidi, the son of Columbia University Professor Rashid Khalidi.
Will Obama Betray Armenian Christians on Easter Sunday?

I never thought I would write these words but — God bless Kim Kardashian. On her website, nestled beneath announcements of Belle Noel’s spring collection and “Jenny McCarthy’s fearless ShoeDazzle Shoe!” is a blog entry entitled, “Time to Recognize the Armenian Genocide.” In it, the reality show star reminds the world of one of the twentieth century’s earliest, and most ignored, massacres.
Kardashian, who is Armenian, reveals, “Every year, I honor the memory of the martyrs who were killed during the 1915 Armenian Genocide. Even though so many countries around the world recognize the Genocide, the government of Turkey still denies it.” And Ankara is not alone. Kardashian took the opportunity to “urge the United States government to recognize the Armenian Genocide.” Kardashian adds, “There’s going to be a National Day of Prayer in churches across America to celebrate Easter and commemorate the Genocide.”
She is far from alone in asking the U.S. government to recognize historical reality. California Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer said earlier this week the refusal to call the Muslim slaughter of 1.5 million Armenian Christians a genocide “is not only an affront to the memory of the victims and to their descendants, but it does a disservice to the United States as it seeks to stand up to those who are perpetrating violence today.”
Although Obama campaigned on a promise to acknowledge the full depth of the atrocities, he broke the promise last year. And he appears to be ready to do it again on Easter Sunday.
Obama’s Justice Department Finds a “Conscience Clause” for “Their People” — Muslims, Not Pro-Life Christians
Kevin “Coach” Collins, FloydReports.com
In May 2009, nurse Catherina Cenzon-DeCarlo was forced to participate in committing a late term abortion in a New York City hospital. Ms. Cenzon-DeCarlo was threatened with the loss of her job and her license if she did not put aside her deeply held religious objections and participate in abortion.
She was told the abortion was an emergency, although the hospital’s records show otherwise. What is clear is that in a hospital full of nurses, the administration felt it had to make its point by forcing a Christian nurse to knuckle under.
At the time nurse Cenzon-DeCarlo was forced to yield to the hospital’s lust for death, federal law protected her. Although she was the one who was legally and morally victimized, she now has to sue to get the hospital to stop harassing her.
The federal protections extended to those who refuse to commit abortions as provided in an executive order signed by George W. Bush are gone now. Barack Obama, the most pro-abortion president in history, has ordered the Justice Department to bring actions against those who would follow their religious conscience and refuse to commit abortions.
The Bush protections for medical professionals are gone, because Obama has ordered the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to see that the right of refusal is extinguished.
It is hard to look at Obama’s decision without seeing a clear bias against those not considered to be AG Eric Holder’s “people.” A new action by the Justice Department makes this point.

Obama’s Homeland Security Dept. Promotes Al Jazeera
Ben Johnson, FloydReports.com

National security has fallen so far under Barack Obama that a high-ranking official in the Department of Homeland Security is berating American cable companies for not carrying Osama bin Laden’s favorite television network.
Juliette Kayyem, the assistant secretary for intergovernmental affairs at the DHS, wrote an op-ed in the Boston Globe this week entitled, “Let US See Al-Jazeera.” (Capitalization in original.) In it, she rakes ign’ernt Americans over the coals for not appreciating Al Jazeera English (AJE), the Anglophone counterpart to Al-Jazeera. Kayyem writes that cable providers should be “promoting engagement in the Arab world” by “bringing a major player in the Arab world to American audiences.”
Typical of the Obama administration’s approach to all forms of conflict, Kayyem wants America to step aside, promote Islamic interests, and hope our enemies will reciprocate our selfless acts of goodwill. In this case, she wants a major Islamic fundamentalist propaganda outlet beamed into 300 million infidel homes. “AJE’s battle with the cable carriers is major news in the Middle East,” she writes. Not carrying the network “sends a message to the Arab world.” Although she reassures her readers, “Cable companies have no obligation to run programming,” she warns that shunning AJE is “understood by the Arab world as a value-laden decision about America’s lack of desire to hear from the Arab world about the Arab world.”
There is the little matter of the Al-Jazeera’s famously close relationship with terrorists and long history of….
