The Obama press office is in full damage-control mode after Obama’s comments to a Muslim religious iftar dinner held at the White House. Obama was direct and clear: “[A]s President, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as everyone else in this country. And that includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan.”

Obama was referencing the controversial mosque proposed near Ground Zero in lower Manhattan. Barack Obama and Mahmoud al-Zahar (the co-founder of Hamas) and our enemies abroad are in total agreement. The Ground Zero Victory Mosque must be built.

For centuries the leaders of Islam have built mosques to celebrate military victories and conquests. Why would they stop now?

That is why we are not surprised by a new poll finding 24 percent of all Americans believe Obama is a Muslim. Minutes after Time magazine released the poll, the White House sent spokesman Bill Burton out to tell the media, “The president is obviously a Christian. He prays every day.”

Interesting. Don’t Muslims also pray every day?

What makes nearly a quarter of the population believe Obama is Muslim? We believe it is because Americans understand Christianity and Islam much better than the elites in journalism.

Every time Obama articulates his religious beliefs, they are patently far outside the Christian mainstream. Remember Obama’s membership in Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ? When Obama joined Trinity he promised to uphold that church’s “Black Value System.” This declaration is where members affirm their commitment to God, the “black community,” the “black family,” and the “black work ethic” in addition to disavowing “the pursuit of ‘middle-classness.’” They believe the “competitive” nature of white “entrapment of black middle-classness” will cheat blacks of their African identity while keeping them “captive” to white culture.

“I believe in the power of the African-American religious tradition to spur social change,” Obama claims. Not only that, Obama openly says he questions “the idolatry of the free market” because of his faith.

That doesn’t actually sound Christian, sounds more Marxist to us.

Where is the need for redemption from sin? Where is the devotion to Christ and His teachings?

Obama refuses to attend the National Prayer Breakfast but we often see him meeting with — and celebrating — the enemies of Christianity and the traditional values it extols.

A full 75 percent of Americans self-identify as Christians, yet Obama insists, “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation.” Yet he has also falsely claimed America is “one of the largest Muslim nations in the world.”

And what about traditional values as expounded by the Bible?

Obama wants gay marriage. He supports abortion on demand. He is sending tax dollars abroad to perform abortions and he worked to secure payments for abortion in his new healthcare plan.

He nominated to the Supreme Court two women who are known as supporters of gay marriage and abortion.

And Americans also understand Islam. Like Christianity, Islam is an exclusive faith. Meaning they both believe that they are the only path to God.

As the son of a Muslim father, Obama is a Muslim, period. It doesn’t matter what Obama says, under Islamic law his mother’s Christian background is irrelevant. Unlike Christianity which requires a conversion and baptism, in Islam you become a Muslim by birth.

Oh, and by the way, Obama has never taken the time to be baptized as a Christian.

1-in-4 Americans Believe Obama is a Muslim; Here’s Why

The Left is seething over a new poll showing nearly one-in-four Americans believe Barack Obama is a Muslim. A Time magazine poll found 24 percent of all Americans believe Obama is a Muslim. Another poll conducted by the Pew Research Center set the number at 18 percent. That’s nearly double the number that said the same thing in March 2009 (10 percent). Both polls showed the same trend: more Americans believed Obama is a Muslim and fewer believed he is a Christian this year than last year.

Why is this? Left-wing pundits blame it on “Republican smear tactics” and disinformation. However, there is a simpler explanation: the president’s own actions lead people to believe he is not a Christian.

According to the Pew poll, “Eleven percent [of those saying Obama is a Muslim] said they learned it from Obama’s behavior and words.”

What actions might lead the American people to believe the president is a Muslim and not a Christian — or at least, not a real one?

One could begin with his behavior in the last week. At a White House function observing a Muslim religious practice, Obama announced that he supports the construction of the Ground Zero mosque but said nothing about the Port Authority of New York’s decision not to rebuild a Greek Orthodox Church destroyed on 9/11. Although replacing a church with a mosque is a vital aspect of jihad, Obama affirmed yesterday that he has “no regrets” for his selective comments.

Obama has yet to attend the National Prayer Breakfast but hosted an Iftar dinner breaking the Ramadan fast.

He has bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia — and then lied about it, not exactly an act in keeping with Christian morality. 

He spent at least $23 million promoting Kenya’s new pro-abortion, pro-Sharia constitution.

He lives in the same Chicago neighborhood as Louis Farrakhan (a close friend of Obama’s pastor, Jeremiah Wright), which is patrolled by the Nation of Islam’s youth brigade, the Fruit of Islam.

Although three-quarters of the American people call themselves Christians, Obama has insisted, “Whatever we once were, we are no longer a Christian nation.” Yet he said elsewhere America is “one of the largest Muslim nations in the world.” His religious adviser, Eboo Patel, once deemed the United States “the ideal place for the renewal of Islam.”

Compiling his statements — as this video does — shows the full weight of his admiration of Islam, on display for all the world since at least his groveling speech in Cairo last June.

One of his faith advisers, Harry Knox, called members of the Knights of Columbus “foot soldiers of a discredited army of oppression” for opposing gay “marriage” and insisted the Book of Romans “is not true” because it condemns homosexuality.

Obama himself has mocked the Scriptures while asserting the Sermon on the Mount supports same-sex “marriage.”

The alleged “committed Christian” has a deep commitment to abortion, although true Christians have opposed abortion since the first century. One of his first acts as president was to restore taxpayer funding for overseas abortions, which Ronald Reagan discontinued with his Mexico City policy. He signed a meaningless executive order that “banned” using ObamaCare from financing abortion, but that practice has already begun in Pennsylvania and Maryland. His selection of two feminists for the Supreme Court show he wants to keep infanticide legally protected for a very long time.

One of those Supreme Court appointees, Elena Kagan, showed the administration has no fealty to the traditional family. She drafted a perfunctory, half-hearted “defense” of the Defense of Marriage Act, which defines marriage as a union of one man and one woman. However, she added, “this Administration does not support DOMA as a matter of policy, believes that it is discriminatory, and supports its repeal.” Obama extended some benefits to same-sex “partners” of federal workers this summer, in the hopes Congress will mandate full benefits.

Even his stimulus plan funded a project that threatens the home of Pastor Greg Sheets in Newark, Ohio.

His every action repudiates Christianity yet uplifts and advances the religion of Islam.

As Jesus Christ said, “By their fruits, ye shall know them.”

This isn’t about religious freedom. This is about spitting on the memories of those who died on 9/11. Americans don’t have a problem with building a mosque and allowing Muslims to worship as any other may here in America.  What they do have a problem is when a mosque is built by Islamic Supremecists, with foreign funding and by an Imam with ties to Hamas.

Obama adviser: U.S. ‘ideal place for renewal of Islam’

A religion adviser to President Obama has close ties to the imam who wants to build a 13-story Islamic cultural center near Ground Zero. The two have been documented together discussing America as "the ideal place for a renewal of Islam," WND has learned.

In February, Obama named a Chicago Muslim, Eboo Patel, to his Advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Patel is the founder and executive director of Chicago-based Interfaith Youth Core, which says it promotes pluralism by teaming people of different faiths on service projects.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the controversial Muslim leader behind the plan to build the Islamic center and mosque two blocks from Ground Zero, wrote the afterword to Patel’s 2006 book, "Building the Interfaith Youth Movement: Beyond Dialogue to Action."

Patel is listed as one of 15 "Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow" on the website for the American Society for the Advancement of Muslims, or ASAM, which is led by Rauf.

In Patel’s 2007 book, "Saving Each Other, Saving Ourselves," he recounts discussing with Rauf the future of Islam in the U.S.

Obama Administration pushing Sharia Law in Kenya

The Obama administration is now pushing a pro-Sharia constitution in Kenya, over the cries of those in Kenya who see the end of their religious freedom.

This comes as no surprise to those who know of Obama’s connection to the Prime Minister Raila Odinga. In 2006, as a U.S. Senator, Obama campaigned for his cousin Odinga.

Odinga, a member of the same tribe as Obama, signed an agreement with Muslims in exchange for their support which promised, among other things:

“Within 6 months re-write the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Shariah as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared regions.”

“Within one year facilitate the establishment of a Shariah court in every Kenyan divisional headquarters.”

“Popularize Islam, the only true religion, in the Coast and North Eastern Regions by ordering every primary school in Kenya in the regions to conduct daily Madrassa classes.”

Now that Odinga is in charge, he is making good on those promises, and the Obama administration is once again supporting him.

[...] Biden was in Kenya leading what sounded a lot like a rally for that nation’s new constitution, one that’s going to be voted on in August. It’s a fatally flawed document, inimical to the values of many Kenyans. The government lost a constitutional vote once before, and it’s called out the big guns for this propaganda campaign, including claimed promises of an Obama visit if the populace knuckles under.
Many foreign observers have enthusiastically joined the government and the Kenyan mainstream media in insisting that a “yes” vote is essential. But it’s far from an open-and-shut case. [...]

U.S. financial and rhetorical support for the Kenyan constitution has some members of Congress calling for an investigation. In a letter to Department of State officials and others, Reps. Chris Smith of New Jersey, Darrell Issa of California and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Florida raised questions about U.S. lobbying in Kenya — specifically, the possibility that the Obama administration may have violated federal law in doing so.

Administration officials have denied any impropriety. But, as the letter points out, our ambassador to Kenya has been quoted as saying that the U.S. has given Kenya $2 million for “civic education” on the constitution, and that we’re committed to more.

“The U.S. shouldn’t be interfering with this process, and we have serious questions about why the Obama administration is promoting a constitution which allows abortion on demand and waters down protections for religious freedom,” Rebecca Marchinda of the New York-based World Youth Alliance, which has an office in Nairobi, says. [...]

…the proposed constitution would also create a legal system within a legal system — codifying the strengthening of sharia by making it apply to every Muslim Kenyan. As Eric Rassbach of the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty points out: “People are subjected to these tribunals merely by virtue of what religious community they were born into, and they have no way of opting out.”

Ray Walser of the Heritage Foundation gives the Obama administration the benefit of the doubt: “I would suspect the administration is pushing the constitution package as a whole with the promise to reduce presidential power and to place constitutional safeguards against corruption.” That would take Vice President Biden at his word. But the Achilles heel of this administration is that it is not, in the subtle words of Walser, “adverse to measures that permit space for sharia-like legal customs — for Muslim outreach/public-diplomacy purposes”…

Nina Shea, director of the Hudson Institute’s Center for Religious Freedom, has a more direct and alarming warning: “The U.S. is drifting unconsciously, haltingly, inconsistently toward a foreign policy that actively promotes the state coercion of Islamic strictures. It adopted such a policy in its financial and legal drafting support of the constitutions of Iraq and Afghanistan. … It did so at the U.N. Human Rights Council in October 2009, when the U.S. joined with Egypt, representing the Organization of the Islamic Conference, to introduce a resolution calling for states to enforce their hate-speech laws. It explained its initiative, which shocked many NGOs, as seeking to ‘reach out to Muslim countries.’” [...]

Obama’s Treacherous Redirection of NASA’s Vision

The White House has stood by NASA Administrator Charlie Bolden’s statement that Obama told him that “foremost” among NASA’s responsibilities was finding “a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with predominantly Muslim nations, to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math, and engineering.”

Obama stuck to this ridiculous idea that NASA should be devoted to Muslim outreach even after Michael Griffin, former head of NASA under the Bush Administration, said the idea that NASA should be devoted to making Muslims feel good was “deeply flawed.”
“NASA … represents the best of America. Its purpose is not to inspire Muslims or any other cultural entity,” said Griffin.
What is the point of Obama’s directive to Bolden? It is clearly more than outreach. Obama made ample provision for that when he created an entirely new division at the State Department specifically for that very thing: outreach to the worldwide Muslim community (Ummah). He named an Indian Muslim, Farah Pandith, as U.S. Special Representative for Muslim Outreach. So high-level was this new office that Pandith reports directly to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. One of the pillars of Obama’s post-American presidency is the Islamization of America.

In February, the White House Budget Office scrapped NASA’s plan to send astronauts back to the Moon, saying it was over budget and less important than other “space investments.” And now Bolden has made it clear: a more important space mission for Obama is pandering to Muslim countries.

Why Obama is a cultural Muslim

President Obama is betraying the Jews. He is a cultural Muslim whose sympathies lie with the Islamic world in its life-death struggle against Israel. Unless American Jews wake up and speak out against Mr. Obama’s pro-Arab, anti-Israel policies, the Jewish state faces a possible nuclear war – and even annihilation.

Mr. Obama met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week. The goal: to repair the public rift in relations between Washington and Jerusalem.

"The bond between the United States and Israel is unbreakable," Mr. Obama said. "It encompasses our national security interests, our strategic interests, but most importantly the bond of two democracies who share a common set of values and whose people have grown closer and closer as time goes on."

Don’t believe him. In front of reporters, Mr. Obama may praise the Jewish state. But behind the scenes, he is selling the Jews down the river.

According to a recent story in World Tribune, a prominent intelligence news website, administration officials have assured the Saudi royal family that Mr. Obama is determined to pressure Mr. Netanyahu into accepting an independent Palestinian state encompassing the West Bank and Gaza with East Jerusalem as its capital. Mr. Obama – like many in the Arab world – believes that the key to Middle East peace is resolving the Israeli-Palestinian issue.

It isn’t. Rather, an independent Palestine will be an Islamic stake aimed at the heart of the Jewish state. Israel’s withdrawal to pre-1967 borders will leave Jerusalem vulnerable to an all-out military assault. The Arabs will have the strategic means to implement their overriding ambition since the creation of Israel in 1948: wiping out the Jews.

Obama Promises Saudi King that Israel will Withdraw from Jerusalem, West Bank

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama was said to have pledged to Saudi Arabia that the United States would force Israel to withdraw from eastern Jerusalem and the entire West Bank by 2012.
Diplomatic sources said Obama relayed a pledge to Saudi King Abdullah that he would take any measure to ensure an Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank and Jerusalem over the next 18 months. They said Obama relayed the pledge to Abdullah during the president’s trip to Riyad in June 2009, about four months after he assumed office, in exchange for Abdullah’s help to arrange for the end of the Taliban war in Afghanistan.

“Obama believes the Saudis are the most important element in his strategy to withdraw from Afghanistan,” a diplomatic source familiar with the Obama-Abdullah talks, said. “Abdullah said he was ready to talk to Taliban, but asked for a clear and definitive promise to deliver Israel.”
On June 29, Abdullah met Obama in the White House, the third session over the last 18 months. Officials said the two leaders focused on Gulf security and the Middle East peace process.

“This is a very important visit [by Abdullah],” U.S. ambassador to Riyad, James Smith, said.

The sources said Abdullah has demanded U.S. guarantees that Israel would withdraw from the West Bank and most of Jerusalem by 2012. They said the Saudi king also expressed opposition to U.S. arms sales to Israel and Washington’s boycott of the Hamas regime in the Gaza Strip.

Obama’s approach to the Saudis was formulated soon after he entered the White House in late January 2009. In May 2009, Obama sent an envoy, Richard Holbrooke, to Riyad to urge the kingdom to support efforts to facilitate a NATO withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Egyptian Foreign Minister: Obama told me himself, “I am a Muslim.”

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit said he had a one-on-one meeting with Obama, in which President Obama told him that he was still a Muslim, the son of a Muslim father, the stepson of Muslim stepfather, that his half brothers in Kenya are Muslims, and that he was sympathetic towards the Muslim agenda.

"Finally, during the week of 14-18th of January 2010, just on the eve of my winter tour to the US, Rachel picked up a Nile TV broadcast in which Egyptian Foreign Minister Abul Gheit said on the "Round Table Show" that he had had a one on one meeting with Obama who swore to him that he was a Moslem, the son of a Moslem father and step-son of Moslem step-father, that his half-brothers in Kenya were Moslems, and that he was loyal to the Moslem agenda. He asked that the Moslem world show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic American problems (Healthcare), that he would show the Moslem world what he would do with Israel."

This is according to Israel Today here. Here is the passage from the May 2010 issue of "Israel Today." It is on page 3 in an article titled "Obama, a ‘Strategic Catastrophe,’" by Aviel Schneider:

"The feeling among the Israeli public is that Obama is appeasing the Muslim world at the expense of Israel. “The American President told me in confidence that he is a Muslim,” said Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit on Nile TV."
