Is Project Gunrunner Gun Control Chicago-Style?

Doug Book, FloydReports.com

We owe John Dodson a great deal of gratitude. Here’s why.

On March 30th, Barack Obama assured gun confiscation advocate Sarah Brady of his ongoing efforts to undermine the 2nd Amendment rights of the American people.

“I just want you to know that we are working on it,” Obama told Brady during her visit at the White House. “We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.”

Of course, the meaning of “under the radar” to a skilled practitioner of “The Chicago Way” will translate into operations which are corrupt, underhanded, bereft of common decency and perhaps regard for human life. Most importantly, there will be an appearance of “noble intent” should the crimes be discovered.

Enter Projects Gunrunner, Fast and Furious and John Dodson

Originally exposed in early March by ATF employee and whistle blower John Dodson, these ATF intrigues….

Mexico Sues U.S. Gun Manufacturers Over Obama Program

Doug Brook, FloydReports.com

Not content to pack off millions of miscreants, impoverished, or labor-averse citizens to the welcoming, welfare-bestowing arms of the United States government, Mexican President Felipe Calderon has decided to hold Americans responsible for his nation’s crime rate, as well. On November 2, 2010, Calderon retained the New York law firm of Reid, Collins, and Tsai to sue American gun manufacturers and dealers for the reputed massive influx of weapons into the otherwise zephyr-swept Shangri-La of Mexico.

“We seized more than 90,000 weapons…I am talking like 50,000 assault weapons, AR 15 machine guns, more than 8,000 grenades and almost 10 million bullets…The ones we are able to track, most of these are American weapons,” claimed El Presidente to CBS reporter Peter Greenberg.

The fact that American gun dealers don’t sell machine guns or grenades seemed to have little effect on the statement or CBS’s desire to run the story….

Is Arizona’s Immigration Law Being Put on ICE?

By Aaron Goldstein, American Spectator

Obama and his administration is undercutting Arizona

For all the histrionics, hoopla and hysteria that has surrounded Arizona’s recently passed immigration enforcement law, it must be noted that its success depends on the co-operation of the federal government and the feds know it.

How else to explain the words of John Morton, Assistant Secretary of State for Homeland Security for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)? Last week, Morton told the Chicago Tribune, "I don’t think the Arizona law, or laws like it, are the solution." Morton added that he wasn’t of the opinion that the Arizona law represented "good government." So it would appear the federal government will not co-operate with Arizona’s efforts to stem the tide of illegal immigration. For all intents and purposes, Morton has put Arizona’s immigration law on ICE.

Yet the provision in the Arizona statute concerning the enforcement of immigration law can be summarized in three simple steps.

Step One — A law enforcement official has made a lawful stop, detention or arrest of an individual.

Step Two — A law enforcement official has developed a reasonable suspicion the individual is not in this country legally (i.e. failure to produce identification).

Step Three — On the basis of this reasonable suspicion, a law enforcement official contacts ICE to verify the individual’s immigration status.

Embarrassed by Obama and his goons

By Craig Smith, WorldNetDaily

 unbelievable

Any questions about the total crack up of the Democratic Party were put to rest Thursday as Felipe Calderon continued to promote the lie that Arizona will racially profile his fellow countrymen under our new law.

During a joint session of Congress, members of the Obama administration and his party sat on the edge of their seats and grinned with glee while the Mexican president admonished one of the 50 sovereign states of America. Calderon acted like he was scolding a group of elementary school students. The room then erupted in a 15-second Democrat applause, accompanied by a standing ovation that included our attorney general and secretary of homeland security.

So, if I have this straight, a foreign leader came to our Congress and openly rebuked a law which has the support of 72 percent of Arizonians and 60 percent of all Americans. And the Democrats applauded him?

We are seeing the disintegration of a political party right before our very eyes.

The Republicans in attendance sat horrified as they watched this spectacle, knowing any expression of objection would be noted as impolite or not fitting of protocol. One could only hope more Joe Wilsons would speak up and say, "That is a lie," but who can survive the media onslaught that would follow.
