When it comes to advocating for the economic advancement of minorities, few can top the rhetoric of America’s far left Democrats. As with far too many of these ideologues policies, however, absolutely no action backs up their excessive talk.
Many Democrats want others to abide by rules from which they feel they should be exempted. This upsetting characteristic was expertly illustrated in a recent study conducted by the New Organizing Institute.
According to Executive Director Ethan Roeder, federal campaigns headed by Democrat candidates routinely offer blacks and Hispanics lower salaries than their white counterparts. This practice flies directly in the face of the party’s passionate pleas for increased wages they contend would lift many minorities out of poverty.
“African-American staffers on Democrat federal-level campaigns are paid 70 cents on the dollar compared to their white counterparts,” Roeder stated, indicating “Hispanics are paid 68 cents on the dollar.”
Wage disparity – whether based on gender or race – is a constant rallying cry for the far left despite the fact that disparate groups are now on more equal footing than ever before. The only group still dedicated to paying minorities less, it seems, are those who demand others pay them even more.
The same study reveals Republican campaigns show a much smaller disparity than Democrats, which bolsters the argument that conservatives care far more about individual ability than any attribute as immaterial as skin color.
An irrational demand for diversity largely defines the modern Democrat party; however, recent leaders including DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz and even Barack Obama have come under fire for employing overwhelmingly white staffers.
Meanwhile, Tea Party groups have increasingly attracted black conservatives to the cause despite the movement being mercilessly lambasted as racist by leftist opponents. The simple fact remains that Democrats cannot win nationwide elections without enormous minority support.
The left attracts these voters through a combination of shameless pandering and the dissemination of unfounded invective against Republicans. As more studies and reports show the glaring disconnect between the Democrat party’s rhetoric and reality, one hopes minorities across America realize there is another option.
