Democracy is breaking out all over the country, and some in Washington don’t like it one little bit.
The latest example occurred in Missouri Tuesday, where more than 70% of voters rejected ObamaCare. Actually what they did was pass Proposition C, which declares that the federal government cannot tell Missourians they must have health insurance or pay a fine if they don’t. That mandate to have health insurance is one of the most controversial provisions in ObamaCare.
When President Obama and the Democratic leadership pushed through the health care reform bill last March, a number of Democrats–along with virtually every Republican–questioned the wisdom of passing a bill so widely unpopular with the public, as evidenced by the unprecedented number of angry voters protesting the legislation at town hall meetings last August.

What did the public think would happen by electing a non-citizen and an avowed marxist/commie! Somebody has to work to pay for all of these government takeovers; banks, car companies, mortgages, and healthcare! Its the states that have to go after obama and congress on things as healthcare and some others. If you wait for your man in Washington you may have a long wait because with dems in control a republican can not do it along . So the states need to speak up on the matters that need taken care of. If enough states do then obama and crew has to see the light.
Since the health reform law passed in March, seniors have arguably become the administration’s most courted demographic: President Barack Obama spent Saturday’s weekly address touting the benefits that health reform will soon bring them via Medicare and boasting of the latest Medicare Trustees Report finding that health reform will make the social safety program solvent for an additional 12 years.
“Seniors are starting to see that because of health reform, their benefits are getting better all the time,” Obama said.

But just over one-third of seniors still believe the law comes with death panels that ration care, according to a Kaiser Family Foundation poll in July.
