I am sure that at this point in the history of our American Republic, one thing stands out. The Congress of the United States of America is nothing more than a group of SPINELESS COWARDS. We the people have elected this select group to represent our values and to protect and defend the United States Constitution, as well as uphold it.
Thanks to their inaction to do the job that WE hired them to do,we now have a communist wanna-be dictator running roughshod over America and everything that she stands for. From the day that they take their place in their seats in our government’s three branch system, they start their re-election campaigns. The American people who put them in office have simply been hung out to dry.
How many times has the communist Obama circumvented Congress now in the past three years? Their inaction is very telling as to what the state of our great Nation is at this point. They are nothing but spineless cowards. I am sure that the majority of Americans share the same feelings at this point. We are paying for a SERVICE that we have NOT received.
We the People must stand and unite and DEMAND that our “hired help” start doing their jobs. If this group of do-nothings was hired in the private sector, they would all be on unemployment benefits by now, alongside the millions of Americans they were elected to represent. Instead, they get a lavish lifestyle, insider stock trading deals, large expense accounts, and a golden benefits package. All at taxpayer expense. It’s no wonder why they live in a bubble in the shining city on the hill.
The time has come for the American people to stand up and hold these people accountable. We need to give them a choice. Stand up and do your jobs, or you’re FIRED! Enough is enough. Stay safe and always be aware of your surroundings.

They seem to have forgotten, or just ignore, that we elected them to stand up for the Constitution and "We the People"!!!! There are some in congress who are trying to change that, but the majority of them are old line and only interested their own careers. Let's give credit where credit is due and let's rid the Congress and the Senate of those who don't care about us or the Constitution.

When I send e-mails to my two senators, Jeff Merkley and Ron Wyden, "IF" and I do mean "IF", when it comes to Ron Wyden, I do get an answer, it usually SAYS, "We will just have to agree to disagree!" Jeff Merkley at least explains some times, WHY he disagrees with me. But, it seems he too, is chosiing simply ignore OUR points of view, AND THE CONSTITUTION, most of the time.
I, too, live in Oregon. I have never gotten ANY response from Ron Wyden, and usually form letters from Merkley
I feel unrepresented and have told them so. They just don't care about US, the voters, just about themselves as far as I can see.

Judy, I get a sense that there is a change for the better coming. Just look at the dems who are retiring or choosing not to run again for another term. Also there are a few of the them who have apparently seen the light and are jumping ship to vote with the republicans. My real fear is the SCOTUS. There are three judges (Sotomayor, Kagan and Ginsberg) who scare me and two or three other conservative judges who are quite elderly. If Obama wins in November he could replace another retiring judge with yet another liberal and there the end will happen very quickly.

My family has been in every war since WW11, and have served in every branch of the Military and our leaders never say they don't want to lose the American votes instead they race to Latinos because they don't want to lose their vote. They have filed a law suit against the Republican Party for coercing them and those who would vote for WHO should represent the Republican Party. Congress is scared to death of civil unrest. They fear that if they go after Obama and impeach him the cities will burn. If the cities burn, Obama will declare martial law and will have unlimited power and congress will be impotent. Congress is putting off any action until the election which might solve the problem with out some sort of showdown. They are cowards and Obama is playing them like violin.

JULY 4th is coming, INDEPENDANCE DAY! Could we perhaps make it an INDEPENDANCE DAY TO REMEMBER? July 4th is the day we call our Independance Day, and it should mean more than parties, picnics, and fireworks. We can again give it true meaning by declaring our INDEPENDANCE OF/FROM THIS INSULTING LOT OF TRAITORS IN WASHINGTON! It would be a perfect time to make that 50 MILLION MAN/WOMAN MARCH ON WASHINGTON! And MAKE IT COUNT FOR SOMETHING! Wake that TOILET, CESSPOOL, SEWER UP AND FLUSH IT STRAIGHT DOWN TO WHATEVER HOLE IT FINDS AND BELONGS TO!
