Stuff costs too much. Seriously. Every time I go to the grocery store these days, I am absolutely horrified by the prices. I try not to buy anything that is not on sale, but the problem is that I am discovering that the new sale prices are the old regular prices. So now paying what used to be “full price” is supposedly a “good deal”. The other way that they are trying to hide rising prices is by shrinking package sizes. As if we wouldn’t notice that a box of 21 garbage bags is now being sold for the exact same price that a box of 25 garbage bags used to be sold for. It is one of my pet peeves. I feel like I am in the middle of some bizarre movie entitled “The Incredible Shrinking Dollar”. Sadly, I am far from alone. There are millions upon millions of American families that are seeing their expenses continue to rise even as their paychecks remain the same. But neither Barack Obama nor Mitt Romney seems very concerned about inflation. In fact, the Federal Reserve, QE3 and Ben Bernanke were not even mentioned in any of the three presidential debates. So I think that somebody should start the “Stuff Costs Too Much” Party. Inflation is a tax which is destroying the value of each dollar that we hold a little bit more every single day, and the American people deserve to know the truth about what is going on.
In this day and age, it simply does not pay to put money into long-term savings. When you finally pull your money out it will have far less purchasing power than it originally did.
Way back in 1950, you could buy a first-class stamp for just 3 cents and you could buy a gallon of gasoline for about 27 cents.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could still get a gallon of gasoline for 27 cents?
But we don’t have to go all the way back to 1950 to find low prices. All we have to do is go back ten years.

The American people care not about inflation, about obama's various misdeeds and mysteries, about job flight to foreign lands, about crime, about treason, about filth on television, and on and on. Americans seem to be brain dead zombies pretending to have a life. I hope you are going to vote next week, fellow citizens. The collosal disaster called the obama administration will be hard enough to fix as is. If they regain the Office it will be a national mega tragedy of unimaginable proportions. Watergate and Jimmy Carter look like a senior citizen euchre party by comparison.
I already voted for Romney, but you're wrong that the American people don't care! We care very much about our country and want America to stand and flourish!

Right on sister, tell it like it is! And I agree with part of what David said, that Obutthead is a COLLOSAL DISASTER! He is that, and so much more that it hurts the mind just thinking of what a disasterous disease he truly is for this nation! And there are millions of Americans who do CARE about our nation. But our so called “mainstream media” aren’t doing their jobs as those jobs should, by RIGHTS, be done. No, instead, they lie to us each day, as they have their noses and heads where nobody’s head or nose should be, up the ass of their beloved, Oliar. And then there are those who do not have to work in order to exist, or live, no, they receive the “obamabucks” and free health care, and everything else that can be gotten, gotten off the sweat and blood of those of us who actually GET UP AND GO TO WORK EACH DAY FOR A LIVING! And then we who work for our money have to pay taxes, which are in turn given to EVERYONE but those who really need help! Right on down to, or up to, OUR ENEMIES! We in turn, are bled dry at the gas pumps, and then at the grocery stores, where we are robbed and raped by our own “government” who care not one little bit that we are being robbed and raped each time a product, which is most likely not made in America, nor grown in America, each time a product is rang up on a register! This is INSULTING, and HARMFUL to us all! Even to those fools who think they are getting something for nothing………and even a FOOL should know that there is NOTHING FREE! EVER! One way or another, they too, WILL PAY FOR ALL THIS FREE STUFF! Their time is going to come, but they are too stupid, foolish, blind and ignorant to recognize a shark when it has it’s teeth, BIG WHITE TEETH IN A BLACK SHARK FACE, ALL THE BETTER TO BITE YOU WITH, MY STUPID AMERICAN IDIOTS…………sez the current LIAR, THIEF, MU SLIME IN OFFICE! Well, for starters I have voted in every election for the past 50 years. I also worked at dirty, boring, hard labor industrial jobs for about 40 years- jobs that have left me a severely handicapped sedentary person in my retirement years. I also saw what a fake and charlatan obama was way back in '07 and have commented via the internet and printed page to oppose him and all that he stands for, plus donated money to candidates and causes opposed to him. I also did my duty and served 4 years in USAF although my peace time service pales in comparison to those who did hard war time duty and bled and died for our nation.
It's true that there are millions of people actively speaking out in opposition to the evil agenda but then again I see my friends, relatives and neighbors all around who don't have a clue and even proudly proclaim that they never vote. These people scare me greatly and sadly they seem to be the majority. Tuesday will tell the story of what America today is made of. If the scoundrels are soundly rejected and if the Romney people are for real then a new day will begin for our country. I am holding my breath and praying at this point. America hangs in the balance.
