John McCain Official SC1 Senators from both parties to honor John McCain

WASHINGTON — In a rare show of bipartisanship, Senate Democrats and Republicans will hold a joint meeting next month to mark the 40th anniversary of Sen. John McCain’s release from a North Vietnamese prison.

Democratic and Republican congressional aides said Thursday that the special lunch will be April 11 after Congress returns from its two-week break. The aides spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not allowed to discuss the event publicly.

    THIS would be a wonderful time to announce his RETIREMENT and change of address!!
    While WE all appreciate his service and sympathize for his POW status, it's time to look to the future and make room for someone more conservative, like a real Republican!!
