WASHINGTON- A Republican senator says he sees some in his party favoring a 2016 presidential candidate with an immigration policy that would “round people up … and send them back to Mexico.”
Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky on Sunday said he would be a presidential candidate if he thought he could win. The tea party favorite says he sees an opening for a “libertarian Republican narrative” to help the GOP win on the West Coast and New England.

Wonderful idea. Whose gonna risk his political future to support rounding them up and sending them.home? Who is going to pay for it and who is going to actually do the rounding up?
Ron Paul had a great idea about how to handle the illegal immigrant situation. Remove the incentives and freebies, including anchor babies and free healthcare/welfare/education etc., and end the drug laws then they wouldn't want to come here anyway. He also advocated sound money and sensible spending cuts to restore our economy so that jobs would be plentiful. This makes sense to me.
Senator Paul is a great candidate in 2016. But the press will attempt to push Rubio to the front and then after they do they will destroy him as he is not qualified to be the President any more than Obama is. Obama's father was a Brit and so it makes no difference where Obama was born, he can never be a 'Natural Born Citizen' by the Laws of Nations as they were at the founding of the United States.
Rubio was born in Florida, but neither of his parents were citizens at the time, therefore Rubio is not qualified to be the President. Once again, not a 'Natural Born Citizen', just a common citizen, because he was born here.
We need to be smart enough not to put Rubio forward even though the liberal press will be pushing him as hard as possible and will be hard against Paul or anyone else. If Rubio is selected by us then the press will destroy him in the campaign…
Don't be foolish in thinking that in a three way race Paul would win for sure. The Liberal Socialists will have the edge in a three way race unless in the next four years we can figure out a method to make the election fair and legal with only citizens voting….. Otherwise it is a toss up.

Paul actually said, "They DON'T want somebody who wants to round people up, put them in camps and send them back to Mexico."
This isn't the only misquote in his statement either.

If he didn't say it he should have.We rounded up the japs we can round up the beaners and put them on a Carnival Cruise Ship and that way it wouldn't be inhumane.
I agree. I see no reason why we can't round these illegals up. Not like they are in hiding or anything. They are even sitting with the ahole at the SOTU.

Ron Paul has some good ideas even if he didn't say this and I listenedand he didn't say round them up.

IT is time to wake up and protect, defend and preserve our Constitution by rounding up illegals, from Obama down to all the undocumented immigrants. In the first place, Obama is undocumented, illegal and ineligible president, who defrauded AMERICA.. So, we have the right to demand his resignation and arrest if he does not cooperate. We have the right to a citizens arrest and send Obama to jail and let the Speaker of the House be the president by succession, since Biden is a part of the FRAUD of Obama.
