School protects boy who harasses girls in restroom

Transgender smaller

Parents have fought back in recent months against the movement to allow transgender students to use whichever restroom facilities they deem appropriate. Perhaps these opponents predicted an incident similar to what happened at one Colorado high school.

According to information provided by the Pacific Justice Institute, which is taking action against the school in question, administrators allowed a male student to continually enter the girls’ restroom and make inappropriate comments and gestures toward females therein.

When multiple girls complained, school officials reportedly indicated that the boy — who is a self-identified transgender — has every right to engage in his predatory activity. Furthermore, a number of the complainants were reportedly told they would be dismissed from extracurricular activities or even face hate crime charges if they did not keep their concerns quiet.

“This is a nightmare scenario for the teenage girls,” said PJI attorney Matthew McReynolds. “This is exactly the kind of horror story we have been warning would accompany the push for radical transgender rights in school, and it is the type of situation that LGBT activists have been insisting would not happen.”

Florence High School, the institute asserts, is ignoring the privacy rights of almost all of its students to show favoritism to one small segment. In a letter sent to school officials, PJI explains that the school is violating its own policy by not ensuring the supposedly transgender student uses only female facilities. A number of witnesses assert that he uses restrooms designed for both genders.

“We’re not going to stand by and let 99.7 percent of our students lose their privacy and free speech just because 0.3 percent of the population are gender-confused,” PJI President Brad Dacus explained. “LBGT activists are sacrificing the safety and sanity of our schools to push an extreme political agenda.”

The institute has been involved in similar campaigns to reverse such policies in California and is demanding this school respect the privacy of all its students. It is supremely unfortunate that these debates are necessary in the first place. The transgender community’s supposed plight is the new cause celebre among leftist elites, who feel that the rest of society owes these deviants some special consideration.

Let alone actually speaking out against the sinful lifestyle, we are now told that anything less than full support for their outrageous choice is unacceptable.

As much as the public school system preaches the anti-bullying gospel, today’s youth are explicitly told they must accept whatever abuse a transgender schoolmate chooses to dish out.
