I realize reporting on foolish and socially detrimental legislation from the hotbed of liberalism, San Fransisco, isn’t exactly breaking news. Of course they support far-left perversions of law; it’s who they are! That’s true, but I feel it’s beneficial to document such batty abberations at the source before other slightly less demented local governments pass similar measures affecting individuals outside of the Twilight Zone of liberalism that is San Fransisco.
Objective research has named the City by the Bay and it’s county the most liberal place in the country. This should come as little surprise to anyone at all familiar with some of the nonsense this area has embraced. Still, the city’s leaders seem to find an unending stream of moonbat ideas from which to pull their latest attempt to further reshape their corner of the world into a leftist utopia.
Recently, passersby at a major San Fransisco library, which I assume is alphabatized from Alinsky to Zedong, were upset when patrons were viewing pornographic material in full view of others. This obviously constitutes prudish behavior among Bay Area residents who are used to seeing fully naked individuals running down the street at any given moment.
In response to the complaints, city officials were forced to make a choice. They could prohibit the viewing of pornography in a library frequented by youngsters and supported by taxpayers with measures such as installing filters through which such sites could not be viewed. That would constitute an intelligent solution to the problem, though, so policymakers obviously went in another direction.
In a ruling so bizarre it almost parodies its own lunatic heritage, San Fransisco decided to install plastic hoods on a dozen-and-a-half computer monitors so images are visible only by the user. Instead of dissuading sexual perversion in a public place, which the city has a documented record of supporting, this decision makes it possible for a student researching a paper to share a common area with a deviant feeding his fetishistic desires. Sure, if the plan goes as planned, no one can see the images on a pervert’s screen, but are we supposed to believe there’s no residual sound or other offending sense that will permeate the barrier?
Some reports from library visitors say the barrier does little, if anything, to prevent obscene images from being viewed by others.
High-profile arrests including Paul Reubens, a.k.a. Pee-Wee, and Fred Willard were based on lewd acts in a theater dedicated to showing porn. While I agree such behavior should be outlawed, I can at least give these men credit for keeping their debauchery within the confines of an adult-only establishment. San Fransisco not only permits the viewing of such material in a public library but encourages it by equipping patrons with a privacy shield.
In a time that provides nearly limitless devices on which to view objectionable material in public, many organizations are attempting to limit such activity. Always representing the vanguard of leftist idiocy, San Fransisco apparently felt porn aficionados deserved even more latitude in when and where they can ply their trade.
I just hope this is not another of the many rulings other cities pick up in an attempt to appear more tolerant and inclusive.

California is pure waste land. Hollywood and liberals are whores.
Ain’t that the truth. I will never go see a movie in the theaters again. Ever since I found out how much they hate this country. Which I can’t understand cause if it wasn’t for this country were would they get there wealth from. I can’t stand that. I am poor and I don’t hate the rich. I just don’t like the liberal rich. They do pratically nothing for this country. Too all the small business people… God Bless You. I may be poor but I at least have respect for people that earned it. Also I don’t want people taking from the rich and giving to the poor. I have more pride then that and I will always try to earn my money as well as my husband. We have 4 kids and I wouldnt change a thing. With my family being poor… It tought me morals although other people just hate it when there are people that can succeed in life, as for me I don’t hate people that succeed. I have respect for the people that succeed.
I don’t care how poor I am. I just know that God is with my family. In the end that is all that matters anyways.
God Bless America & Israel
