The playbook of the Washington establishment is getting old and almost boring.
Play No. 1 is this: Pass billions in unfunded new programs. Tell everyone we will take care of them from cradle to grave. Subsidized food, medical care, housing, and if your employer goes broke like General Motors or AIG, we will step in with a safety net to rescue the businesses with government loans and grants. The criterion for help and rescue is: Does your support come our way at election time?
Play No. 2 is this: If the American people rebel and say we don’t want to pay anymore for Congress’ wasteful government spending, tell Americans that if they don’t capitulate, the end of the world is upon us. And give “destruction day” a specific deadline for added fright power. This time the date is Aug. 2, 2011 – the day the world will end unless you support our out-of-control foolish spending.
Then the theatrics begin. The media are mesmerized and cued to play their well-honed part in the playbook. Weeks of reporting commence on all of the terrible….

Let the government get shut down. The stock market can crash, too. We'll survive it just like we did before. At least obama won't be able to waste trillions more like he wants. At least the communist won't be able to use our tax dollars anymore to build his "empire". He is refusing any plan that won't raise the debt ceiling and won't give him $2 trillion more to waste. What he wants is to create another stimulus so he can trade for campaign donations like he did with the other stimulus. He paid back the unions, GE, and GM. He gave money to dictators. The guy is sick.
Even sicker than Obama, are the ones who control him! He's only doing and saying what a GOOD PUPPET supposed to do, as someone else pulls his strings!

It's really amazing how obama has carried on with all his speeches blaming the republicans for not doing their job then taking off for the golf course or campaigning. I also love the way the democrats have not tried to have a budget in over 800 days then jump the repubs for not putting anything on the "table". I would not last one minute with this bunch.
At my old age of 67 I don't pay too damn much attention too the administrations fear mongering! I just don't scare very damn easy at my age…..lol. Have pretty much seen it all, over the years. The people are finally waking up and telling them ' no more". People are coming to the realization that our enemy is in DC! They are the ones who did this…..and just a question in passing!
How can "we the people" expect our so called leaders to balance the budget, when they are the same leaders who bankrupted it in the first place? It's just a thought……..
You are OH, SO RIGHT! Nothing in Washington will change untill 'WE THE PEOPLE" remove all of these greedy, self serving, criminals out of DC. They got us into this mess we are in, and I truly believe they are all apart of the plan to destroy America. It's only recently since this Usurper took over, that the American people are finally waking up to how much we have all been deceived by our Goverment, and how very long and deep the corruption goes. Our so called leaders are selling us out, but they sure pretend like they're trying SO hard to fix things. The fact that this Liar-in-Chief STILL sits in "Our House" and not in a prison cell, pretty much sums it all up for me!

I guess he may have to begin to realize that there are some of us out here who have a brain, unlike those who voted for him. Want to get the deficits down? Repeal Obamacare, and defund what is left of the ridiculous stimulus spending. Let's just try to get real. By the way, Aug 2 is just another day, nothing more. We are being conned into thinking that date is something special. It could just as well be July 15, or Sept 15.

I just wished people would have used common sense. Just because he was Black (which he does not claim to be) Black Americans thought this was the train out. Very wrong. College students voted for him, because they thought it would be cool to have a Black President, wrong again. All he wants to do is make Government bigger and stronger. We need less and they need less, demanded by us. No more life pensions. They were all well off before they ever came into office. They need to get rid of at least 2/ 3 of all staff. Debt + Slavery, How hard is that to understand. I have always lived within my means because of that reason. Life is not fair, never has been nor ever will be. All politicians want is power and your money.

We need to get rid of both parties and trash can the current system. Replace it with what the Founders intended, but when you have a slime like Obama it brings all the puss to the top, Czars, Pelosi, Progressives, Marxist, Reid and down right Communists. We must get rid of the term politician. What kind of person would want to make screwing and lying to the people a career? But, we need to slice the Democrat Progressive Party to bits and later work on gutting the GOP.
