WASHINGTON— The Republican Party’s chairman is asking religious conservatives to support the GOP’s plans to expand.

Reince Priebus (ryns PREE’-bus) spoke on the final day of the annual Faith and Freedom Coalition gathering in Washington that brought Republicans leaders together with evangelical activists.

Priebus said he supports “changing minds, not changing values” after the GOP lost the presidential contest last year.
