Public Comments Overwhelmingly Oppose HHS Anti-Conscience Mandate

Sebelius SC 300x219 Public Comments Overwhelmingly Oppose HHS Anti Conscience Mandate

The federal website Regulations.gov released the first round of public comments on the administration’s proposed anti-conscience mandate on Wednesday. The comments were overwhelmingly opposed to the measure: out of 211 comments submitted, only six, less than 3%, offered support for the mandate.

The mandate would require all organizations that offer health insurance to facilitate coverage of contraceptives and abortion-inducing drugs, even if such drugs violate those organizations’ religious or moral beliefs.

The vast majority of the comments submitted focus on the mandate’s violation of Americans’ right of conscience, while a few discuss the health hazards of the medical procedures the mandate covers, and some call for full Obamacare repeal.

“As a Democrat, I will vote Republican if religious freedom is not protected and respected,” said one commenter, who identified herself as Arlene from Colorado.

An anonymous commenter from Missouri insisted that the mandate constitutes “a religious freedoms issue, not a women’s issue.”

One cannot violate their concience if they beleive that they answer to God, and to God only! I am one of those who beleive that I will face God, and answer to Him when I meet Him face to face. And I’d rather face the wrath of man any day, than to face a living, and angry God! God holds the key to eternity, and when faced with the choice of heaven or hell, I have to say that I would go with the former. One can only die a physical death one time, but one faces an eternity of hell if one chooses to go with the “laws of man”. Man is dishonest, man is inherantly evil, carnality is born in man at birth, and only the grace of God can remove this carnality. To “beleive in man” unquestionably is to beleive a lie, basically. To beleive in God is to beleive in Truth! God does not lie. Man is full of wickedness, and full of lies, as our “government” proves daily. So, to choose to over ride our concience, which is that “still small voice” that we hear when we knowingly go against what we know to be honest and true, we ignore the Voice of God. And that is to our detriment only. I sincerely hope and pray that the Catholic Church, and all Christians will stick to their beleifs, and not crumble under this evil pressure that our “government” is pushing down our throats. For to do so will be to our shame and ultimately, to our doom. We must remember who is is that we will face on Judgement Day, and it will most certianly not be Obama and his minions of evil!!!! They are only men, after all. One of whom may be the one spoken of in the Book of The Revelations. Time will tell, but it would be to our own destruction if we take any of this lightly, and disregard what we KNOW TO BE RIGHT IN THE EYES OF THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! Have faith, Christians, have faith, keep the faith, that in the end, GOD RIGHTS ALL THAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD! For He will create a new heaven and a new earth, and the faithful will spend eternity with Him! It will pay in the Long Run!!!!
