Experts say we are in an “invisible” economic depression and, despite the mainstream media’s constant insistence, there is no discernible recovery despite trillions of wasted dollars spent by this failed administration. Any improvement in the private sector is immediately squandered by heavy-handed federal interference and is far too anemic to make any real dent in the financial quagmire created by our elected officials.
A government truly interested in improving the plight of its citizens would help foster an environment conducive to creating new jobs and maintaining existing ones. Leftist politicians, however, generally attach a higher importance to grabbing more power for themselves than the well-being of those they are supposedly representing.
As evidence of this, regulatory overreaches on the part of the federal government have taken a toll on already-struggling employers. It can take years for someone with an idea for a small business to clear the hurdles and untangle the red tape, purportedly designed to protect consumers but with the real-world effect of costing jobs.
One such company, N.Y.-based Maxfield and Oberton, makes a line of magnetic desk toys known as Buckyballs and Buckycubes. Despite being approved (after complying with extensive safety measures and regulation) by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in 2010, the same agency has recently filed an administrative complaint against the manufacturer, seeking to prevent the product from being sold anywhere. Reports indicate this is just the second such action the CPSC has taken in more than a decade.
Part of their initial compliance dictated the company list multiple warnings on its product boxes, outlining the risk of injury associated with swallowing the small magnets. The warnings were apparently effective, considering Buckyballs has sold over 500,000,000 of its magnets in the past two years with less than 24 reported cases of injury.
Maxfield and Oberton emphasize the fact that these magnets are strictly for adults, as are many products in our society. The fact that a few careless parents let their children swallow the magnets is the fault of those parents, not the company that made the product.
Dealing with each tragic case of choking among children, who tend to put just about anything they find into their mouths, is not only outside the realm of governmental possibility but is actually exacerbated by a product of their own – coins.
Even including food items, nearly 1 in 5 choking episodes reported among young children were caused by a coin. I think it’s safe to say far more kids choke on a dime, which contains exactly zero warning labels, than a Buckyball.

I was shocked and disgusted, yes, even appalled at finding out that G.W.Bush signed this Agenda 21! I had already lost respect for him, when he outright lied to the American people, saying “Islam is a peaceful relgion”. For me, that was the last straw, regarding him! So, let me get this straight, I said to the television screen, this peaceful religion murders people for no reason, and it is supported by the man for whom I voted, and trusted to care for my nation. hmmm, I do not agree, and I am disappointed in you, Mr.Bush, you just lied through your teeth to a nation who trusted you to do what is best for this nation. We approved of this war you said was important, and went up against the same people whom you now call “peaceful”. And now, I find that you actually signed such a horrible, dreadful peice anti American thing, so what is left to beleive in? The more I hear and read about the things this President did while in office, the more disappointed I am in him. And this is how Americans have come to be persecuted by the same people who are intent on murdering them, and want to change America into another filthy, slime filled, disease ridden hell hole, like the countries they left……….and came here, for the supposed reason of “having a better life”. And once they get here, not any of them are happy or satisfied, until they have ruined it, and made it just as miserable as the dumps they crawled out of. And these are the people that George H. W. Bush calls “peaceful”. And then, I find out about the AGENDA 21……..ya know, we need to completely, and totally clean Washington up, from top to bottom, rid it of all those buttwipes and start with some Americans who did not buy their way into those positions. I am SO Disgusted!!
Proud American, when I read that name the first time, I had this feeling, “this will be the next president”. My husband said “NEVER IN AMERICA”! I disagreed. I saw how the black fools, and the white FOOLS, drool and fall all over themselves to get close to this freak. I watched as people literally fainted at his glance, and behaved as if he truly were the “second coming of” ????? Certianly not Christ! But the way the “news” media portrayed him, it was as if he shit gold! And not one of them spoke one word, not one letter, of anything “wrong” with him. Not the way they ATTACKED every other person who ever runs for office. Not one word of slander, not one smidgen of anything to make people question him, or who or what he is. Nada. No, they behaved as if this freak from nowhere was absolutely perfect. Interviewing Sarah Palin one night, the little airhead dyke, Katie Couric was so rude to Sarah that I almost blew a blood vessel. I have NEVER seen any other “journalist” behave so downright rude, mean and nasty to anyone! It was absolutel appalling. I have never forgiven her, and would not walk across the street to help her, if she were being ran over by a truck. In fact, I’d hope the truck would back up and do it again. When this same twat was interviewing Oblowhard, she almost “creamed her jeans” from the way it looked. She could not smile and get close enough. All of those “journlists” have behaved exactly the same since. No one speaks a word against this DISEASE! All PRAISE HIM TO THIS DAY! I am now no fan of G.W.Bush, but if these traitors who are supposed to “REPORT” the news, would ATTACK THIS FREAK OF NATURE, IT WOULD HAVE HELPED THEN, AND IT WOULD CERTIANLY HELP RIGHT NOW!!!!! Thank you for saying that, yes we need to take back our country, to be honest with you if obama had done a good job and kept his word, I would have been happy to vote for him. He does have the gift of gab and when he speaks he sounds sincere but it is part of his act. If he is re-elected he will change our country to another third world or even worst to a muslim nation. And he is capable of imposing the sharia law on the American people and the American people can not allow this.
