You might have heard that President Barack Obama attended a $40,000-a-head fundraiser at George Clooney’s Hollywood home last night. And did you hear the story the president told about the iconic “Hope” poster that became the emblem of his 2008 campaign and that hangs in Clooney’s house? Obama recounted how it was based on a photo of him and Clooney at an event for the humanitarian crisis in Darfur. “This is the first time that George Clooney has actually been photoshopped out of a picture,” the president quipped. “Never happened before, will never happen again.”
Funny, right? There was just one problem. Obama was wrong.
‘In fact, the artist who created the poster, Shepard Fairey, used another photograph of Obama but said he relied on the Obama-Clooney picture to avoid a copyright infringement case with The Associated Press. He pleaded guilty in February to criminal contempt for fabricating and destroying evidence.’”

Well, he is best at SUCKING………..up. Isn’t he? In fact, he sucks, period. He blows. He bites. There is nothing about him that is complimentary, not that I can think of. He should be blown off to some third world country where they know how to treat such a peice of blowhard trash. I am amazed that Clooney is so stupid that he’d actually have a party for such a wind blower. Maybe I shouldn’t be amazed, considering hollow wood. They all blow hot air.

I always liked George Clooney in ER and in movies like A Perfect Storm. I think he is a good actor, but I also thought he had some brains. I am really disappointed in this and promise to NEVER watch anything else with him in it. I think the other comments about the Hollywood idiots are right on the money. I don't know why I thought that maybe G Clooney might be different. I guess he needs to drop the "C" on his last name.
All actors appear to have brains when they read/repeat scripts written by someonwe who actually has an IQ above 90. Just as Obama can speak half -way coherently when reading from the teleprompter. Birds of a feather do flock together.

C-looney, is a JOKE…an actor? I NEVER watch him in anything! He shows his brain power by hosting a $40,000 a person event for obama? His brains were on holiday. I have never understood why so called celebrities back people such as the clintons and obama when they are the ones who put down the rich. What policies they enact affect THEIR bottom line as well as ruining the little people. If people are out of work, they aren't going to movies…isn't that how they make thier living? It just has never made any sense to me WHY actors and such would back people like this, but then there is a whole lot about hollywood I never understood!!! I wonder if they even understand themselves!!!!!
It's really sad and ignorant when fans of some screen idol really do think that the true persona of an actor is what they portray on screen,e.g., Clooney(I think) usually plays the "good" guy, intelligent, warm and generous. And, of course, he looks great; therefore, his ficitious "person", in the minds of an audience, becomes their reality. Obama, a pathological narcissist(a real mental disorder) is one whose fantasies cannot nor will not be separated from realities. Many or most in Hollywood have this same disorder; therefore, they will ALWAYS support a democrat…..the more delusional the better.
Keep in mind that the average Hollywood star has no other God before him/her. The same can be said for Obama.

I think the admiration between Clooney and Obama is just one actor admiring another fellow actors work.
