In the 18th century, the idea of stepping in something that was wholly undesirable became the catchphrase “to put one’s foot in it.” Today, it is the mark of a tactless statement made by just about anyone; but when done often enough by any one person, it is often said that they have “foot in mouth” disease.
Two of Obama’s feet-in-mouth statements are well-known proclamations, but one is an action made as a response to the doubts of millions of Americans about his past and some intense pressure from World Net Daily (now WND) and businessman Donald Trump. Fortunately for the president, they were not all made at the same time because he would have been short one foot.
“You didn’t build that.”
Barack Obama has tried to backtrack and find ways to soften what he said, but the words are on the ether, and they cannot be retracted. Even if he could explain them away, he has a clear record of dissing and bad-mouthing Americans that is now cumulative and part of the perception of him that is so offensive to millions of them. Recall the “Americans are getting lazy” and “they cling to their Bibles and their guns” statements that are still getting press to this very day.
The famous remark made in Roanoke, Virginia on July 13, 2012 was: “You didn’t build that.” He was referring to those who started business or enterprises that became successful. The idea that government is what made businesses flourish is foreign to most entrepreneurs who know all too well that government regulations and taxes are the two torpedoes that can sink their best efforts in record time.
The Huffington Post and other Obama-media liberal entrenchments have called the criticisms of the statement bogus and used every device known to literature and political science to cover and lessen the true effect of his badly executed bit of railing verbiage. But his past history and his Robin Hood stance against the wealthy are failing in the American psyche, where perception is often more powerful than reality (especially after insults are perceived.) The bottom line is that many businessmen and entrepreneurs are quite angry and will not easily be assuaged.
“Here is my birth certificate”
This foot-in-mouth statement was followed by the release, from the State of Hawaii, of the alleged and long-awaited Obama birth certificate, a document that may now be more famous than the Constitution. A small army of lawmen and forensic experts have labeled it a fantastic fraud. The mainstream media has laughed them to scorn while even conservative news and journalistic sources has set it off to the side. But it won’t go away.
Only months away from the general election now, others are clamoring for not only the proof from the state of Hawaii in the form of the microfiche copy or the actual document of record, rather than a cheap copy. Who would guess that in reality, the birth certificate is only the tip of the iceberg?
Dozens of documents about Obama’s past are still conspicuously missing, sealed, and covered in mountains of official secrecy and obfuscation. The most damaging of all the past records is the applications to schools and universities. Why? Simply put, if Mr. Obama applied to schools as a foreign exchange student rather than as a Hawaii-born American, then he has defrauded those schools. That would make him a felon rather than just a fraud. In this nation, no one who is a felon is allowed to run for president, much less become the president.
“My view of marriage has evolved”
This is the biggest foot-in-mouth proclamation the president may have ever made. More people believe that same sex marriage was always his view, but it was kept subdued to insure his chances for election in 2008.
The truth is that after putting many social groupings against each other, this proclamation has driven a wedge straight down the middle of the American social and political landscape. Clearly, most Americans do not like nor will they ever accept this idea as anything other than a direct frontal attack on the family and the religious beliefs of the entire nation. He obviously doesn’t care that no religion, Christian, Hindu, or Muslim, allows for same sex marriage except among their apostates. This could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back for Mr. Obama.
“The proclamation of – We the people.”
Mr. Obama’s time for putting his foot in his mouth is about to be answered by the American people. It is said that by now, most people have already decided how they will vote. It is also said that the rest are simply not paying attention. What happens after November 6, 2012 will get everyone’s attention, whether they are prepared for it or not.
It is clear that Mr. Obama’s policies are about to bankrupt the nation financially, morally, and completely. The nation’s future is on the line, and now the country will have its own chance to pull a lever for a chance at recovery or collectively put our feet in our mouths, one foot and one person at a time.
This writer will make no apologies for saying that the 2008 election promises are now just so much dust in the wind, the Obama record is a fiscal and moral disaster, and the present campaign complete with Super PACs is a dishonest, unethical barrage of diversion and juvenile skullduggery. If we buy into this without scrutiny, then indeed we will have put our foot in our own mouths by two.
I also cannot apologize for believing that there are just too many Americans who know better and will not let Barack Obama have another chance to do more serious damage to this great country.

And Reverend, you most certianly have no reason to apologize for anything you write or say. What you say is only the truth, and although the “Truth hurts” those whom it hits square between the eyes, that is only as it should be. If Americans will FACE THE TRUTH, that they made the most awful, dreadful, horrendous mistake in 2008, by allowing this liar to convince them that he meant well for them, this wickedly awful mistake can be repaird and our nation can begin a healing process. If however, they do not admit to the mistake, and insist on another chance, one that will end our way of life as we know it, then it is they who will be to blame for not only their downfall, but that of the entire nation. If it were myself who had cast my “lot” in with these foolish and most ignorant bunch, I’d be so embarrassed that I’d crawl under a rock, and pull it in over myself. I’d only come out again to vote for anyone else other than this lying Disaster, Disease who has corrupted our nation’s Capitol with his filth. We can only hope that this time around, Americans in greater numbers will do a better job of choosing, we really have no other choice. This cannot happen again, because it is our doom if it does, for, this evil thing in office and his criminal element, mean to destroy everything else, everything that they have not already destroyed. This is a nightmare, a real, live and in the broad daylight, NIGHTMARE from which I sincerely PRAY that we can wake up from!!!!!!
