WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama continues to apply one-sided rhetoric and political pressure on congressional Republicans, this time complaining to the state governors about the impending defense sequestration bill coming into effect this week.
Obama and the liberal mainstream media continues to ignore the fact that his own party, the Democrats, have not passed a budget in the Democrat-majority Senate. He also fails to mention how his own idea is front and center, the sequestration bill, and that the blame falls solely on his shoulders.
This coming Friday, it seems that an agreement may not be in place to save the government from automatically cutting $85 billion in several programs. Some of the hardest hit programs will be the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and social programs, but especially the defense industry.
