With the signing of an under-publicized amendment to Executive Order 12425, Barack Obama has fundamentally altered your constitutional rights. His actions are undermining your rights to protect personal privacy from a foreign internationalist police agency named Interpol. A one-paragraph executive order may seem inconsequential to many, but this action has far-reaching implications and threatens the sovereignty of America.

Obama’s secretive executive order amended an order issued by President Reagan in 1983. Reagan’s order recognized Interpol as an international organization and gave it privileges and immunities commonly extended to foreign diplomats. Reagan opened the door to allow Interpol to operate in partnership with the U.S. but with significant constitutional safeguards. Specifically, Interpol’s property and assets remained subject to search and seizure by American law enforcement, and its archived records remained subject to public scrutiny under provisions of the Freedom of Information Act. Interpol had to answer to the FBI and U.S. courts under Reagan’s order. These safeguards were stripped away by Obama’s action the week before Christmas without debate or explanation. Obama picked the holiday season to make this radical change, to minimize media coverage.
This order marks a significant change in federal policy and usurps the constitutional power of our government by yielding it to an international organization. Michael van Der Galien writes, "This foreign law-enforcement organization can operate free of an important safeguard against government and abuse. Property and assets, including the organization’s records, cannot now be searched or seized. Their physical operational locations are now immune from U.S. legal and investigative authorities."
Obama has given an international organization unsupervised freedom to investigate Americans on our own soil without recourse or the supervision of our own government.
Andy McCarthy writing for the National Review asks some very significant questions: "Why would we elevate an international police force above American law? Why would we immunize an international police force from the limitations that constrain the FBI and other American law-enforcement agencies? Why is it suddenly necessary to have, within the Justice Department, a repository for stashing government files which, therefore, will be beyond the ability of Congress, American law-enforcement, the media and the American people to scrutinize?"
Interpol is the enforcement arm of the International Criminal Court, or ICC. The United States never signed onto the Rome Treaty, which created the ICC, because of the potential for abuse by foreign interests. Obama has signaled he may sign the treaty over these objections and subject Americans to prosecution overseas in the ICC. This is harmful for two reasons. First, the U.S. Constitution clearly states that it is the supreme law of our land, and allowing the ICC to supersede the U.S. Constitution violates America’s sovereignty. Second, the War on Terror is unpopular with Europeans, and the ICC may attempt to prosecute heroic American soldiers with trumped-up war crimes. Obama is putting brave American men and women at grave risk.
An added wrinkle to this executive order is that Interpol’s operations center for the United States is housed within our own Justice Department. Many of the agents are Americans who work under the aegis of Interpol. This order has potentially created the new civilian security force that Obama proposed during his campaign. This group of law-enforcement officials is no longer subject to the restraints enshrined in the U.S. Constitution.
The order guarantees that Interpol officers have immunity from prosecution for crimes they may commit in the United States. Ironically, some Interpol nations are attempting to try American intelligence agents for their work abroad in the War on Terror.
This order shows blatant disregard for the U.S. Constitution. While Obama is extending due process rights to terrorists he is weakening those same rights for American citizens. If a citizen were to be prosecuted by Interpol, their newly granted immunity would interfere with the discovery process. Since Interpol files are immune to disclosure, a citizen could be denied his right to see the information used to prosecute him or her.
Obama’s executive order has done more to weaken civil liberties than the much-maligned Patriot Act. The silence in the mainstream media on this issue should scare all freedom-loving Americans. Obama just signed away parts of our precious legal protections.

Well the way I see it if "international police" attempt to excersise their powers here, it then becomes time to utilize the original stated purpose of the Second Ammendment. When our government becomes too corrupt to control through legal measures it then becomes time to utilize the tool provided by our forefathers to correct the broken system. If I were the judge at these mockeries of trials, I would seize upon a great opportunity: put all the court security personnel out for reces/break/lunch/recreation/whatever. Then, make sure all of the New York spectators are wide awake. Dismiss the guards restraining the terrorist, declare the monster "not guilty", and walk away, letting the New Yorkers punish the slug however they please, right there in the courtroom. It seems to me that what this campaign is all about is that BO wants everybody back into school that he can lure there, for purposes of socialist indoctrination. I'm a superbly qualified electronics engineer, but can't get a job (I'm non-degreed, and self-taught. The degreed guys used to come to me for help in the mathematics! Go figure!). These days it seems you need a university degree, and preferably a very recent one, to even get employment driving an ice-cream truck. These things don't just happen; they're planned.

No doubt you've seen the ubiquitous animated Internet ads saying "Obama asks moms to return to school". Being a self-taught electronics engineer of considerable skill (which sure as Hell was not acquired in college!), I'm a lot more familiar than most with the simple fact that much (probably the lion's share of) education is not of the "institutional" variety. Why, then, herd people in droves back to school? Answer: to get ideological indoctrination into their faces. You know the drill: there are always a few propaganda-oriented "required" courses needed for graduation. The "dumbing down" that you mention goes hand-in-glove with this. By the way, I signed the petition. That's not the end; I'm also doing my best to raise public awareness of the mess we are in and to share ideas on what we can do about it.

If they only get one term (two at the most), then we don't need to offer them a retirement program. By the time they're in office for four years or so, they are mostly out of touch. Unfortunately, an elective process (as opposed to picking names out of a hat) will never result in the installation of the "ideal" public official: 1) one who has sufficient REAL skills that he doesn't need a job in politics; 2) and who has been DRAFTED against his will to serve a term in government; 3) and whom his employer at the time of his conscription into government loudly complains that he is losing an irreplaceable good man. After this ideal government person has served his non-optional, single term, he will return to his regular job and retain his eligibility for its retirement program, as opposed to having a government retirement program wherein he can vote himself a raise at any time.

Here are two of my own pet suggestions for T-shirts: 1) A T-shirt showing the big, round face of a pig, with the acronym "P.I.G.: Politically Incorrect GUY; 2) how about this one, to be sold near and worn in airports: "If you aren't PROFILING, we aren't flying". The ban on profiling is just one of the many instances I've seen in life of the mindset "If it works marvellously, saves time and saves money, then we just can't possibly do it." The only way we can push back so-called "political correctness" is for each and every one of us who has stones to reject it out of hand, rebel against it, and never cooperate with it.

Their sole function is to facilitate the flow of information and resources in international criminal cases and aid in law enforcement cooperation cross-border. While I would like to see Obama out of office, I don't think it could ever happen now. With Pelosi, Reid and the Democratic majority in charge, Impeachment would be DOA. I believe it takes a 2/3rds vote to impeach a president.
What we shouldn't want is a show trial (Impeachment) that the press would love but it would keep Health Care and the National Debt etc. out of the public eye.

i have introduced this plan on several websites and received great response—set another TEA PARTY into motion NOW —begin in California and add millions of" -issed off "Americans along the way to Washington D C and fill every street,ally,vacant lot and parking lot thereby shutting obama ,pelosi,reid and congress down,telling them to shut up—pack up—and get the hell out of our country.If he calls in the Reserve,they dare fire on us , then millions American tax payers will join in and come to our aide and stand up against the whole damn army if need be.I don't believe our soldiers will stand against us .

By the time Obama gets done changing the laws, we won't be able to do anything to him. We need action now!, not later. His executive order means other countries can come here and stop any uprising we may make. Don't y'all get it? Talking is doing nothing. Congress has been denuded. No matter who we elect, we can't stop the train Obama has started. He'll make himself our "king" and we won't be able to get rid of him.
Its not that hopeless, by any means. In 2010 alot of congressmen and senators are up for reelection, and then again in 2012 (if we make it through that year). Voting out the dems, especially those in lock-step with the Pelosi-Reid faction, will be a tremendous first step in reclaiming America. Where I live (CT) that means dumping Dodd and the shifty Lieberman. Retiring those career trough-feeders would be so huge, even MSNBC would have to concede the people are fed up with the vast left-wing conspiracy. If America can purge Congress of enuf of these bloodsuckers, BO would go into lame duck mode in short order. The trick is to stall the destructive legislation before the election.

Unfortunately, OB is The Commander-In-Chief (at least as far as the chain of commands goes anyway) and our government/constitution is not set up to allow a military coup. Impeachment/voting him out of office is the only LEGAL way to get rid of him and his cronies. Have you seen the movie Valkyre? I wish I had a better answer for you. I, too, am terrified at what is happening to our country. Until the common people band together and take whatever measures are necessary, I'm afraid things are only going to get worse.
We need to organize a million man march in DC with signs of TREASON and IMPEACH OBAMA. We can pass out fliers detailing his obaminations. I have an IMPEACH OBAMA sticker on my car. We must put the pressure on Congress to contain. Let them know we are serious.

Letters, emails, phone calls are not working, they are not hearing us and they are not listening to us. This is OUR country, not theirs. Our fathers, mothers, grandfathers etc. have fought and died to provide us with the freedoms that we have taken forgranted. Stock up on food, guns , ammo, screw gold, you cant eat it or survive on it. Wake up America before it is to late.
