New Report Shows The “Vegetarian” Lifestyle Is Just Another Liberal Lie

A new report from the Medical University of Graz in Austria presents evidence that the “vegetarian” lifestyle is actually dangerous. The study found that purely vegetarian diets lead to poorer general health and a diminished quality of life marred by both physical and mental problems.

In spite of the vegetarian tendency to smoke less if at all, have higher socioeconomic achievement, eat less fat, get more exercise, eat more veggies and fruits, and drink less alcohol, they do not have a better lifestyle by objective standards.

Vegetarians suffer from higher rates of cancer, are twice as likely to be plagued with allergies, and suffer mental health problems.

They suffer heart attacks and cancer at a fifty percent higher rate than meat eaters.

The survey also established that meat eaters have higher Body Mass Indices (BMI) and consume higher levels of alcohol. Both of these finds suggest that BMI and alcohol usage might not be as significant to predicting individual lifespans as previously thought.

Of particular interest to those of us not afflicted with vegetarianism is the report’s observation that “Vegetarians reported higher levels of impairment from disorders, chronic diseases, and ‘suffer significantly more often from anxiety/depression.’” We can understand this because empirical observation makes the connection between vegetarianism and liberalism clear. Liberalism is a mental disorder, so why shouldn’t these things go together?

Contrary to the façade they present to the rest of us, vegetarians were also found to contribute to their own poor health by avoiding vaccinations and other normal medical preventative measures.

The survey concluded, “Our study has shown that Austrian adults who consume a vegetarian diet are less healthy (in terms of cancer, allergies, and mental health disorders), have a lower quality of life, and also require more medical treatment.”

Are you listening, liberals? This is just another lie from your camp that has been debunked. If you want to live a longer, healthier life, stop redesigning the human body and live as nature intended you to live.

  1. What a load o crap this article is. Lies, Lies. First you assume that just because someone is a vegetarian that their also a liberal. I am 28 years vegan have health of someone in early 20 on a blld teat and conservatism is alive and well in the vegetarian community.

      Paul surly we do not need to argue with the side issue that most vegans are of a liberal mindset. Your reaction to this study is typical of the way a liberal attacks when confronted with a differing view. Most likely due to the "mental health" issues mentioned in the article. 28 and have health of a 20 year old..ha ha ha ha talk to us when you become 60 and then see what the lifestyle has done for you. until then you can go have a Tofu slab stuck together with soy glue stabilizers, in the shape of a pork chop. ha ha ha ha Yep, mental, problems.

  2. I’ve been a vegetarian for 62 yrs. I have only been in the hospital one time for surgery on a broken nose. I am also a conservative. Don’t tell me what I can and cannot eat and I won’t tell you what you can or can’t eat. As a health professional I would caution you to look at many studies before you throw vegetarianism in the trash bin. Not many come up with the same results as the Austrian study. Separate your food tastes from your political views if you want to argue liberal vs. conservative or vege vs. meat. They are two different subjects.
