American Crossroads unveiled a new television ad Wednesday featuring Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood slamming President Obama on his economic record.
“Through the last few years, America’s been knocked down. Twenty-three million people can’t find full-time work, and we borrow $4 billion every single day, much of it from China,” says the famed actor and director in the ad.
“When someone doesn’t get the job done, you have to hold them accountable. Obama’s second term would be a rerun of the first and our country just couldn’t survive that,” Eastwood continues. “We need someone who can turn it around fast, and that man is Mitt Romney. There’s not much time left, and the future of our country is at stake.”
The Eastwood spot is one of three new television ads launched by Crossroads Wednesday as part of a $12.6 million swing-state blitz.
The ads will run in seven key battleground states: Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio and Virginia.

Mr. Eastwood, thanks for showing that those of your profession have not all turned against this country. By the way, I have my chair, and it’s BROKEN, and VERY EMPTY! This poor broken chair needs fixed, and someone to fill it properly. I personally, cannot stand another four hellish years, watching my country be dismantled, and attacked from the inside.
Oh, someone tell Morgan Freeman that this country is not doing better, and that our enemies have not been vanquished, and that each time his ad, spouting the lies about Obama are simply sickening, and disgusting to those of us who are hurting, suffering under the regime and rule of this most foul dictator wanna be. And that each time we see his lies on our television screens, that any regard we may have once had for an actor such as himself, this regard slowly dies with each lie spouted. Or, maybe ooozed would be a better description of this load of mistruths………..someone needs to show him, Mr. Freeman, the statistics, those which are not doctored by those who wish to sell our nation to China or the highest bidder, because it is those of us who work for very little each day who are suffering the most. He and his kind do not seem to know, or understand, OR, CARE that the rest of us are not able to support this pathological liar anymore, and that we need the help of those like himself, who profess to “care” about America, and Americans. Those ad’s are revolting, at the very least, if not downright demeaning, because sir, we out here in America, we who work for very little, we KNOW THE TRUTH! And those with NO JOBS CERTIANLY DO KNOW THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER.
