Watch: MSNBC May Never Interview This White House Official Again After This Embarrassing Interview

MSNBC host Alex Wagner repeatedly asked White House official Cecilia Muñoz about President Obama’s obvious refusal to visit the border during this “humanitarian crisis.”

“One thing seems to be bipartisan accord on, if I can say that in these days, is that a lot of folks on both sides of the aisle think it is imperative that the president visit the border and it’s not just Republicans,” Wagner told Muñoz.

“Why is the president not visiting the border?” she then asked.

“So what the border situation needs is the full attention all across the administration, from the president on down. That’s what’s been happening since June 1st,” Muñoz responded, noting that the administration has deployed the Department of Homeland Security, Health and Human Services, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Justice to work on the crisis.

“Can I just interrupt you Cecilia – and we’re well aware of the cabinet members who visited,” Wagner replied. “The White House weeks ago designated this as a humanitarian crisis, the president visits crisis all over this country. Why is he not going to the border to look at this one?” she asked Muñoz again.

“The president is very, very, focused on this urgent humanitarian situation,” Muñoz answered, again saying the “whole government” is involved in the situation.

Again, Muñoz could not answer her question, prompting Wagner to ask another.

“So do you expect there will be no blowback that the president will be in the state of Texas at the fundraiser meeting with a governor to talk about the situation and refuses to go to the actual place where the crisis is happening?”

Muñoz again responded that the important factor is the “whole government” is working at the highest levels to solve “the urgent humanitarian” situation at the border.

The issue is so urgent that Obama is doing his best to help out–from the golf course, that is.

If shortly after his first Inauguration Bush had said the same thing about Congressional Democrats that Obama said about Congressional Republicans shortly after his first inauguration — "They are welcome to come along for the ride but they'll have to sit in the back [of the bus]." — Democrats and the mainstream-media would have SCREAMED for his immediate Impeachment.
