On January 1, 2011, a law banning certain “ethnic studies” classes went into effect in Arizona. The law makes it illegal for a school district to teach courses which “promote the overthrow of the US government, promote resentment of a particular race or class of people, are designed primarily for students of a particular ethnic group, or advocate ‘ethnic solidarity’ instead of the treatment of pupils as individuals.”
But it was not the ever-compassionate, ethnicity-conscious left which wrote and implemented legislation making it a crime to teach violence and racism. Rather, the law was passed by the Republican-controlled Arizona legislature and signed by the State’s Republican governor.
And the left is fit to be tied over it!
According to one liberal professor, the Arizona legislature has committed “ethnocide,” or more properly “ethnonormativity” by implementing a law which hopes to preserve some semblance of sanity in Arizona schools. As the professor puts it, the law “takes the teachings of one culture—the colonizer’s—and makes it the standard version of history while literally banning other accounts, turning the master narrative into the ‘normal’ one…”
In short, the evil “colonizing white man” has once again trodden mistreated Chicanas and Chicanos underfoot, preventing them learning the true history of their struggles with the white devil slave master by making such studies illegal.
No kidding; that’s really what the professor believes as he calls the Arizona statute “a potent example of legislative bigotry and open persecution of people based on…race and class.”
Nor is he alone in ranting over the purportedly ghastly mistreatment of illegal—that is, undocumented–immigrants who simply want value for their taxpayer funded educations.
Throughout the internet, liberals are outraged that Arizona legislators would even consider putting an end to classes simply because they teach the benefits of revolution against the United States or the justifiable hatred of whites.
And apparently, this is precisely what has been going on in classrooms in Tucson and around the state. For on two occasions the law has been tested in court, once last year and again in January. And in both cases, judges have ruled against the Tucson Unified School District, making it clear that evidence introduced by the state of unlawful classroom antics is true.
Clearly, teachers have been promoting racial resentment, suggesting revolt against the government, and instructing children that hatred of whites is altogether justified. And the American left not only applauds such sparkling lessons plans, they are passionate about them continuing!
Were positions reversed and white students taught to hate and resent blacks or Mexicans, would the left furiously lobby to overturn a law passed to correct the situation?
A federal judge has just taken under advisement a lawsuit filed by two Mexican students seeking to have the law declared unconstitutional. Apparently, the left will continue its process of appeal until it has found a dependable, liberal activist in robes who will be pleased to overturn the work of the legislature. And that won’t be anything new, will it?!

WE THE PEOPLE AREN'T PAYING FOR THIS CRAP….we've had enough…..these groups do not belong in our schools, we need to get back to the good old American history education and stop this crap and nonsense and it is high time to stop property taxes and go to charter and alternative schools…let those who have children in the schools pay for it, not the thousands of retirees and people who don't have children in school……our property does not belong to the government and we shouldn't have to pay for this nonsense……this should have never started in the first place…..people worry about losing their homes everyday because they can't afford their bills let alone property taxes and then they have to worry about someone buying their property out from under them by paying their back taxes…..it is time to make this illegal in the State of Arizona and get the state out of the schools…..it is time to clean house and pull the plug on our system the way it is right now.

There is a saying that ignorance is bliss. I am reminded of this because evidently these people do not know just how much the USA has helped Mexico (around 80% of its national income is from Americans) and they want some liberal jackass of a "teacher" to tell them ways that they were mistreated by us wicked whites. Just look at the ignorance of the Americans…they illegally enter our country and we give them housing, food stamps, free education, free medicaid, often free housing, I know of some who have recieved free automobiles, free dental work, and the list goes on. Terrible aren't we? They should (if illegal) be fined and/or jailed and sent back to the lowest point geographically of Mexico after the first offense and given 10 years and a $10,000 fine for each time thereafter. The teaching of revolution is called sedition and should be the charge against ANY teacher that is guilty…and the ACLU be damned.

Political correctness is the root of the problem. It started out innocently enough but has ballooned way out of proportion. It used to be enough to be an "American". Now, you have to be an "African-American", "Hispanic-American", "Asian-American", or some other "hyphenated-American". They say they want us to be "color blind" but then they label us and separate us into different groups and expect us to all just get along. No, really they don't. That's their whole plan. They want to divide us so they can conquer us from the inside and "fundamentally change America" into the socialist/communist regime they have been planning to institute since the late 1940's. Think about it for a second and, hopefully, the light bulb will flicker. start thinking for yourself instead of blindly believing what the media is telling you. Be an "American", just an "American", before its too late.
