During the past week a number of Operation Fast and Furious watchers have been celebrating the notion that Congressman Darrell Issa’s February 14th letter to Eric Holder represents a last chance, comply or else, final offer to the gangster Attorney General.
Unfortunately, buying into such wishful thinking will result in nothing but disappointment as the Congressman has shown little in his dealings with the Attorney General over the past 6 months but a litany of empty threats and predictable retreats when they are ignored.
During his December 8th testimony before Issa’s House Government Reform Committee, Holder stated emphatically that his Department of Justice would NOT provide congress any Fast and Furious information dated later than February 4th of 2011. In support of that assertion he has prevented DOJ officials providing testimony to the House and ignored repeated requests for relevant letters and emails.
Perhaps such astounding arrogance should have surprised no one, for when the House at last filed a subpoena in October demanding the Department turn over approximately 80,000 Fast and Furious related documents, Holder ignored it, making clear even then that he had no intention of abiding by House demands.
And the House of Representatives—that is, the Republican Party—did nothing.
At the end of January, Deputy Attorney James Cole addressed a letter to Congress stating the Department of Justice in no way had the necessary TIME to comply with House requirements that it FINALLY turn over the documents subpoenaed 4 months earlier. This was in response to yet another Issa threat on January 27th to begin contempt proceedings against Holder should he fail to provide the material by a February 9th deadline.
And Issa reiterated that threat prior to the AG’s House testimony of Feb 2nd, stating once again there would be no choice but to initiate contempt proceedings should the documents demanded in the House subpoena not be produced.
Yet when February 9th passed without a single page having been turned over by the DOJ, rather than press ahead with a contempt filing, Darrell Issa provided Eric Holder and his minions an extension—an INDEFINITE extension, apparently “permitting” the most corrupt Attorney General in this nation’s history all the time in the world to continue his practice of ignoring the House and its subpoenas.
Holder and his criminal, White House boss KNOW Republicans haven’t the guts to file contempt charges against a black attorney general, just as they haven’t the backbone necessary to address the fact that there is a black, Manchurian candidate serving in the White House contrary to Constitutional requirements. Until Republicans somehow find the courage necessary to put the law and the Constitution of the United States above their all encompassing fear of the liberal media, Jesse Jackson and threats of rioting in the streets, the nation will continue to be subjected to the crippling agenda of an America hating, would-be dictator.
So don’t for a moment believe Darrell Issa will do anything more to Eric Holder than write threatening letters which the Regime no doubt post on its doors as material for daily ridicule. After all, it was the American people who voted these cowardly Republicans into office. And as is always the case, voters get what they deserve.

It seems there is not ONE, not ONE, in the entire congress and senate who will stand up for the UNITED STATES AND OUR CONSTITUTION. I have come to the conclusion that it is all cut and dried, and nothing we do can change anything. This administration gets away with things that in another time, would be called treason. They pass health laws, which we the people, have nothing to say about. They are doing nothing about the guns sold to Mexican outlaws, our borders, they have turned against Israel, they are selling our gasoline to China, they are doing nothing about dead people voting, they are giving millions to things like Arab spring. God help us, no one else will.
When Issa first started investigating I really thought he and the committee were serious but as time goes by I find my thinking to be wrong.This was for show and Holder knew it after all Obuma was behind him in lockstep
This was done to show the public that we really cared about Holders Fast and Furious program that killed Agent Terry but at last we find out it was a ruse.Somehow John Boner,Obumas golf partner got to Issa and told him that the president wants this to go away and be a good soldier and he will let you kneel before him and kiss his ass the way we republicans do.Had this happened in the Bush presidency every lowlife democrat politician would be crying for AG Gonzalas head like they did for Scooter Libby whom Bush served up on a silver platter.

It is astonishing and beyond belief that the Republican party has no one courageous enough, brave enough, to stand up for our Constitutional Republic and deliver our Nation from the evil that is openly and defyingly destroying all that our Founding fathers built and our Armies have sacrificed their blood to protect. Obama promotes illegal immigrants to come here from all over the planet. The millions of illegal Mexicans do employment damage to Americans who desperately seek work. This has certainly had a negative effect on all unemployed Americans. Why would any gun owners vote for O when his admin has done everything possible to scrap the 2nd amendment by excluding American rights and going thr the United Nations? Why would any environmentalists vote for O since he promotes illegal immigration when we already are overpopulated? Animals are forced out of their habitats and our eco system is being destroyed. Sewage systems in cities are age deteriorating and cities cannot afford replacement. Water treatment plants are not adequate enough to handle the population. Drought is destroying our agricultural production. Any fool should be able to see the damage brought on us by allowing all ppl possible to come here and multiply as the world pop approaches 7 billion. Why would anyone vote for O when he is bringing pain and suffering on our descendants and the all wild life and Mother Earth? We would have a chance if we had leadership and gov employees to represent Americans instead of treating us like second class ppl and peons. If all Americans, agitated by the regime, were able to go to DC to protest, about half of America would surely go. High gas prices are most favorable to protect our anti American lawless boss from our showing up in DC.

He said that he was so disallustoned,so disappointed with the way things were being done in our government that he didn't want to be part of it. I for one would have liked it better if he had been a little more of a patriot ant tried another term and tried to expose the grafters for what they were. I am sure Fred didn't need the money and he could have possiblely a big influnce in our government. He certainly would have been better than what we are expercened in the last 10 years or so.
