Undaunted by ridicule from the leader of his own party, an Indiana lawmaker is standing by his allegations that the Girl Scouts is a radical organization that promotes abortions and homosexuality.
The scouts and Planned Parenthood have dismissed Rep. Bob Morris’ comments as absurd, as did Republican House Speaker Brian Bosma. But Morris, a Republican, told The Associated Press his critics need to do more research into the 100-year-old scouting organization.
“My family and I took a view and we’re sticking by it,” Morris said Tuesday, adding that his daughters were joining an alternative group for young girls run by conservative Christians. “My girls are no longer Girl Scouts. They’re now going to join American Heritage Girls.”

The truth is, the Girl Scouts do promote abortion & sodomy.
Republicans need to get over this abortion BS! It IS neccessary under certain conditions. Restrain it to under 3mo (13wks) or something, fine, but stay the hell out of the "conception" crap. Women make up more than 50% of the population & MANY of them vote. They see this is a violation of their rights. Why? B/c it IS! MANY women are siding w/obammy for this one reason. Repubs are shooting themselves in the foot- they're trying to control! It's a losing proposition. They need to start w/the real issues- priorities! You know, the ones they promised to fix when we voted them into office in Nov 2010….? Repeal obamacareless & real in ridiculous overspending! They have failed! I think they intended to fail from the very beginning! Boner needs to be impeached for his failure to prosecute Operation F&F! The Demoncrats are killing this country & the repubs are helping them do it! They must be doing it intentionally- no party can be that stupid.
I have not heard of this before, but it sounds about right. Since the girl scouts outlawed, and threw out God from their organization, some years back, I have not bought one single cookie from them. Nor will I, for that reason alone. Anyone who wants to rid themselves of the God of my forefathers is not on the list of organizations that I will support in any way at all. Their cookies may be good tasting, but their beleifs and behaviors do not “taste so good”, so I avoid them, as I do any other GODless organization. If God be for you, who can be against you……….and I live by that scripture. Yes, we have many against us, but they are preferable to having God Almighty against me, thank you very much.
