Attorney General Eric Holder said Wednesday that the Justice Department will take appropriate action in the killing of Trayvon Martin if it finds evidence that a federal criminal civil rights crime has been committed.
The attorney general made the comments in an appearance before a civil rights organization founded by the Rev. Al Sharpton.
Holder said the department will conduct a thorough and independent review of the evidence in the Martin matter. One of the department’s top priorities, said Holder, is preventing and combating youth violence and victimization.
The Justice Department launched an investigation of the Martin killing three weeks ago.

Eric: You've already lost the trust of the American people you were sworn to defend and protect. Can't believe you're afraid of Obama because you are only one of a few people that does not ansewer to the White house. You see it was set up that way long ago for times like this. To whomever it is that writes these articles………! I just want to ask of you people, will you STOP CALLING THESE TROUBLE MAKERS AND ABOUT AS IRREVERANT AS THEY CAN BE! You write “Rev. Al Sharpton”, and then when you write about the other ones who are as bad as him, it is always with this “Rev before their names! This is OFFENSIVE, for they are in no way, shape nor form “Reverend” at all! If you must call them anything at all, leave off the “Rev” part! To have that word associated with you, you should have some reason to be called that. To be called this should mean that people “revere” them, and most don’t even like them, never mind “REVERE” them. They do not deserve this word before their filthy names! jackson, sharpton, wright, all three are about as deserving of that name as a murderer! For they incite hate, and violence, and want a race WAR! What on earth is so reverent about any of them? I do not REVERE a one of them, they are disgusting and revolting that each time I have to look at them on my television, I want to puke! I wouldn’t walk across a street to hear them flap their hateful mouths, and incite even more violence and hatred! Disgustin Al Sharpton, Disgusting Jesse jackson, REVOLTING jerimiah wright! Revolting……jackson, sharpton, wright! I imagine that even God is disgused with them, and the acceptace of the name “Rev”…………..I don’t blame Him if He is!
And Holder is a traitor. He and his kind should be shot as the traitors they are! And, while we’re at it, take wright, jackson, and sharpton out and rid this nation of them too! I am talking about JUSTICE here! These “things”, hate us, we white people, and with no good reason at all to feel as they do about us. Holder has not done the “job” he was “hired” to do, and is a coward as well as a traitor. This squawking about the death of one teenager is just a reason for these “people” to squawk even more! No one talks about the MURDER of the lady in Oklahoma, and her husband who was so severely beaten by a BLACK MAN! Holder has not said one word about the INJUSTICE of this foul, and wicked MURER AND RAPE OF A LADY WHO WAS 80 something! Not one scream of wrong doing from this racist pig and his fellow RACISTS!
