GOP Promises To Rid Nation Of Healthcare Law

GOP SC GOP promises to rid nation of healthcare law

Republicans are using their weekly radio address to reiterate their promise to repeal President Obama’s healthcare law.

The address is timed for this week’s decision by the Supreme Court, which is set to announce its ruling on the controversial law as early as Monday.

The justices could uphold the law, they could throw it out, or they could throw out the mandate that consumers buy health insurance but leave the rest of the law standing.

Many expect the ruling to at least go against the mandate — a survey of former Supreme Court clerks and attorneys who have argued before the court this week found 57 percent believe the mandate will be struck down.

At this point in time, we don’t have much else to lose, except this offensive peice of legistation. It will burden our “so many great grand children” that we could not count the “greats” for years to come. So, maybe we should give the GOP another chance to do right by the American people. This “first black” president, and I use the term “president” very, very lightly here, has done nothing but prove that we who had grave doubts and fears about him, every reason to doubt and fear what he would do……..and wouldn’t do…….and as it turns out, both were dead on spot. He didn’t do anything he promised and everything he didn’t. The only thing he promised to do, this “change” he spoke of with such pride, was the very thing that we did not need nor want. Yes, he has indeed “fundementally changed” America, and not for the better, and it is time to end this change before it kills us all. The democrats had control of the house before this disaster of an election, and did nothing at all with this control, and has done nothing but blame the Republicans for their own inability to do their jobs. It is now only fair to return the GOP to some sort of power, and see if they can, this one time, keep their own promises. What do we have to lose anymore? Except, this sorry, lame brained excuse for a human being who now turns everything he touches into what we flush down our toilets every day!!!
