Chris Matthews, who earlier on Monday attacked RNC chairman Reince Priebus on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program for playing what he called the race card, met his match on Monday night on Hardball when he continued harping on GOP racism, only to be called out by Newt Gingrich for his “racist thinking.
Matthews used Mitt Romney’s joke last week about never being asked for his birth certificate as proof that Romney and the GOP were racists. In Matthews’ warped view, any reference to Obama’s birth certificate is only meant to remind people that he is black.
But it wasn’t just the Romney joke that had Matthews wound up on race, as he accused Gingrich of using ethnic politics when he called Barack Obama the “food stamp president.”
Gingrich responded by telling Matthews that his assumptions were “absurd” and that Romney’s joke was clearly not malicious.
Matthews wasn’t satisfied with Gingrich’s answer and played the Romney clip from last week. He told Gingrich that he had received emails from African-Americans, and said they see this as racial talk.

It has become so crazy that I don't even talk with people when they say that something or someone is racist. While there is some racism out there, they have just decided to take it and run with it.
From what I have seen & heard, most racists are black, not white. Racism name calling by the dems has become a convenient stick with which to bash repubs. I think we should just ignore these idiots who have nothing except name calling. They cannot tell the truth because the truth only makes them look bad.
Joey Biden’s remark, smart crack, I suppose wasn’t “Racist”? A thinly veiled threat with a snide look………”they’ll have ya’ll back in chains”. Not that is definately some sort of smart ass remark, and to a room full of black people. It was a put down, and every black person in that room knows it was. And if they know anything at all, they know that what this insulting pair of racists, Obama and Biden are more racist than any one in the country! All they care about is the votes, not the people who do the voting. Think dead dogs, and dead people. Not even any respect for the dead, be they dead people, or dead pets. To use dead people and dogs should tell anyone with half an ounce of brains that these two and their accomplices will do anything, say anything and go to any length to win this “election”. The way they are already “running” this “campaign” is evidence of how they intend to RUN AMERICA INTO THE GROUND, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY OR AT HAND! Chris Mattews is a pervert, any father who would watch his own daughter in an X rated movie and say it “was the proudest” moment or day of his life is a pervert, plain and simple. Thrills up his leg……………ya, and where did that “THRILL” go????????
Chris Matthews has a lot of guilt because he was born white. I truly believe he feels he should have been born anything but white. And therein lies his problem of why he's so mean and just plain stuipid. He feels guilty because he has had a "privileged" life and lots of black people have not been as "privileged" as he has been. He feels guilty. Just listen to him. He could do a lot to help lift up a lot of people if he wanted to, but it's so much easier and more fun to tear other people down. Such a fool.
Chris Matthews needs to be fired. It would help their ratings.
I had left comment for Chris Matthews re my face book eye witness account of Pres Obama born in Topeka, Ks. Gingrich didn't know? please read 7/26/12 and in daily recaps since.. Fake paper trail to escape the KKK.. and president may not have known until i e-mailed these to whitehouse and campaign. In 1/71 his grandmother "Toot" "stopped me?"e from mentioning his birth in Topeka, Ks. when he had just returned from Indonesia. This is not an endorsement for or against,. its a search for truth. start with eye witness accounts and then go verify. I don;t have the wherewithal to do this. did talk again to Sheriff Joe;s administrative office and they did take my name and number this time. They whole scenario is about racism and the real threat of the KKK at the time in Kansas. Its not easy for eye witnesses to come forward and i appreciate those who have sent me helpful info, but some have been terrible and obviously the truth is not important and that is what will set us free, including pres Obama
